ETH price struggling

The reason why ETH is struggling to rally and bitcoin isn't is because there are too many people who are underwater in their ETH positions, while in BTC they are not.

Someone did some realized profits/losses based on balances on both ETH and BTC when a transaction took place and somewhere around 80% of all ETH investors are sitting at a loss and with BTC most investors are sitting at a profit.

Hence the reason why every decent rally we get on ETH causes it to get shorted down, its pretty bad that we couldn't touch $400 a few months back.

Almost all of the project are locked ,not paying still and some are run away already and not responding to the updates so which are you referring about unlocking their tokens?

Ethereum will struggle until Bitcoin starts to grow high again ,because all of alts now are just relying for what bitcoin activities soon

yes, a gradual increase in bitcoin will help altcoin and ETH follow suit. but if bitcoin is increasing rapidly, and is not followed by market demand then ETH and altcoin will be difficult to keep up with the growth of bitcoin. before the update occurs ETH requests should increase.

As with most alts, I don't think the ETH price drop has much to do with how good or bad ETH is, it's more a symptom of the general market movement. A lot of good alts look very underpriced against historic levels, vs both $ and BTC. I would expect that once real bullish sentiment is back then alts will overtake BTC as the main drivers of price growth.

If you look at Ethereum prices I think the price is stable. But if no surprising movement would be very difficult to make a profit.

But I don't think that this would be bad. It looks like Ethereum will be Hardfork. The possible price of Ethereum can again surprise us all.

Really its going steady price .It's got a downtrend and fall down heavily and starting to recover once again. The price is around 180$ at the moment and its struggling .Market always is an uncertain place .I think the platform is well established and still on the 2nd position of the market cap .So hopefully it will recover soon .

I don't want to expect from ETH again as it was not able to produce a good price when BTC was at $13,000.
Maybe if BTC reach higher than $13,000 there might be some good reaction in the altcoins market, I'm just looking at the dominant rate and it's has increased significantly, that makes ETH and other altcoins failed to rise even if BTC is quite bullish a bit.

ETH will struggle, but we won't be affected so much with that if we continue to hold.
For me, I've seen ETH struggle in the past as well, but the right time comes, ETH rises and I did not even expect it will priced at almost $1400 when it reached its ATH.

I think people need to look longer-term. YesETH price looks low at the moment, but it is still a great project and current price says more about the general market than it does about ETH in particular. I do think that ETH will recover and hit a new ATH at some point, although I'll concede that a new ATH doesn't look likely to happen anytime soon. The alt market looks very low at present but there are plenty of good coins in there and it should eventually recover. Alts are many and varied, they don't all just 'fail' at the same time - there is a lot more positive price movement to come from good alts.

I don't see any struggle, they are very steady on where they are right now, people should not only look for the current price or the price in a one month span, they should study its contribution and it's long term profitability and status, I don't see any thread to its position.

Bitcoin gap is very huge,  Ethereum gap over the third coin in the market is still good at 5.40.

ETH has no problems, maybe because of the current market conditions that make ETH prices in a difficult situation. but now it is not impossible that conditions will improve, when this market improves I think ETH will have the possibility to be able to immediately fix the price.

Most of the altcoins that we have now are all struggling and it is  not Ethereum alone, we are just being picky on Ethereum before it is tagged the king of altcoins, and I could understand everyone that have so much expectation in bitcoin that  as a king of altcoins, it is meant to still leave differently which I think it is still following. If they were not storing, I am sure that they would have falling long time ago and probably one other coin would have already taken control of the position of altcoins.

I think that the factor that is generally affecting altcoins is what is just making Ethereum to struggle and I am hoping that one day, the factor would be over and Ethereum would return back to its normal price that would encourage more investors and make its users have faith in it again.
