If someone listened to the suggestion of OP by selling on May which peaked at $8,700 then you just missed the good tidings for the upcoming months.

There are some investors and traders that still didn’t miss out even with that price, before bitcoin started its uptrend from April, the price of bitcoin was around $400, and you know that many people invested in bitcoin during that time, would you still say that they miss out? We cannot always have same set of people same time in every price increase.

What makes bitcoin interesting and continue to grow is that it is better to always get rid of weaker hands from the market. For this reason is why I don’t bother myself anytime that I see a price correction, when I see a price correction, I only see it as the weak investors leaving the market. From that point the corrections stops, strong investors will still be left while we get new investor to pick the value up from there.

Bitcoin is good for long term holding and you will never regret holding it. I've seen people who are impatient enough to wait the good timing for selling bitcoin and they did it earlier.

That is for sure, after the bull run comes ATH and once bitcoin gets to All time high again, people will surely dump their coin to extract their profit while they wait for another bear market to buy at low price, but after the bull run of this time, I am not expecting bitcoin to drop as low as it got to after the last bull run, if bitcoin will dump now, then the lowest we it can dump to is $6000, which may actually be the cheapest of bitcoin that anyone can witness again, but pending the time bitcoin reaches its all-time high again which may never be this year until after the next halving of it, it is still best we keep doing shorts and making money, this will keep us all busy and same time divert our attention from the long-term investment so that we can avoid all panics.

I agree with you . Bitcoin has a very important role in this market and blockchain technology has a huge impact on our daily lives. It has already touched $9K, the current price of BTC now is $9,769.39 per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/, and this is a scary moment of the market because it would again delay the possibility of altcoins to recover.

I'm expecting it will have a good price by this quarter, but that move might not likely hit my prediction, so I'm really hoping it will be back to $10K and over soon and this is just part of the price sideways movement.

I am not sure that the compliance of bitcoin right now is still more than 7 percent of the world’s population, if at 7 percent, we have witnessed this tremendous growth as you speak, then imagine what will happen when more percentage of people comply with the bitcoin technology which I know that they will surely comply with as time goes on and as we advance more in the cryptocurrency technology provided that we don’t have any joint law that will ban the use of cryptocurrency,and I am sure will be very difficult to do so as some countries itself has taken it upon themselves to fully comply with it and also implement it for their citizens to start making use of it. It is just that those countries implementing it are smaller countries, we really need larger countries to implement it and bring about full adoption.

It just reached $9000 but it's rapidly recovering now. It's a probable bear trap and gave everyone a nice period of entry so whomever did reentry at that price, you can now take the shot and get your profit.

But if you want to hold for long term, you're also doing it correctly. I think we're now heading back to $11k. The price seems to be lovely again but most of the alts were left behind while bitcoin is recovering.

It was almost going down that lane recently before it picked back again, I guess the bulls really mean the bears this time around and would not give change for them to break us further down again, because we have been long due for a major breakout again, although I know that the development has been quite fast, knowing that bitcoin price grew from about $4k at early April to whatever value that is currently on now, but since it has already come out of the bull run.

I think we should be expecting constant surge in the value of bitcoin, and by now, I am sure that the correction of recent will surely come to an end soon, and we will see the price spiking high again. From the recent analysis that I did, I can see some major breakout within the next few weeks.

It already breaks $10k, and bitcoin still trying to break another higher price, but I am afraid that we need to wait for a while. The price seems too hard to break the higher price this day because after we reach the higher price, it was dropped and stay at the lower price. So maybe the price can increase in the next weeks so we will make a profit again.
