Should I say Mallorca are in big trouble, because Espanyol are able to maintained their consistency since from the beginning. Espanyol always perform very well at RCDE Stadium, they won all their games and tonight they will be hosting Mallorca at RCDE Stadium which means we will be expecting victory from them.

I just saw it in the news few minutes ago that the former Barcelona player umtiti has retired from football at the age of 31, and just as we all know Samuel umtiti who is now former defender of Barcelona was plagued with a knee problem that forced him out of the football game for long periods. And I believe that this his knee problem was what led to his retirement, but that's by the way at least through out his football career he played very well no doubt and he has won the world cup with France in 2018, which a lot of great players are still struggling to win, while some have already retired without winning the world cup. Samuel umtiti has "300 plus appearances for club and country, plus 10 trophies won, including the World Cup with France".

Yeah, I saw it too this afternoon and I think he knows why he has chosen to retire at 31 and I don't think he has an injury or anything sort of that. Maybe his body system has packed up in that regards and wouldn't want to stress himself anymore. He was a Lillie player before this very retirement announcement and I know it came as a surprise to most people who knew him as a player.

Barcelona played an incredible match, honestly I didn't expect such a high-performance team to score so many goals, Real Madrid definitely needs to be very careful, because if they really want to compete with them this year they need to understand that they need to work harder and that teamwork is fundamental.

Incredible performance indeed from Barcelona yesterday. Although, I believe majority of us bet on Barcelona to win but we never saw that scoreline coming. Scoring whole six goals against Valencia was never expected considering that Yamal who happened to be the wonder kid wasn't playing. Raphinha, Lopez and Lewandowski all registered their names in the score sheet with a brace. It was an entertaining game from every aspect. I just hope they'll continue to maintain the energy throughout the rest of the season to grab the Laliga title again.

To be honest this team might be able to maintain their momentum to capture the La Liga title we saw that one of their best players was not in this match but three other players on their team were able to register their names on the scoresheet by scoring two goals. You may be just beginning to realize that this team finds a way forward without Lamine Yamal, it is correct this team may not rely on a single player anymore, as a result we saw that their attacking style against Valencia was intact in this match.
Moreover the Brazilian player was able to make a devastating impact in the second half of this match because he scored from a great cross from the former Manchester United player.

Furthermore, Barcelona will face Newcastle in the Champions League in a few days, and I expect this match to be very exciting. So, in this match, I'll bet on Barcelona because I'm confident they'll perform well. Furthermore, I hope Rashford returns to the pitch and puts in a great performance.

Wow FC Barcelona was superb last night, like they really amazes me yesterday, after a draw against Rayo Vallecano and with the absence of lamine yamal, Gavi, and the rest when most of their rivals where thinking maybe they would draw or lose but yet they put up some amazing performance by winning 6 to nothing, mehn that was massive, I have told people that Rayo Vallecano was fortunate to have seen draw from them but no body believed me, now it's crystal clear I'm telling the truth, I know real Madrid had not lost a match this season nor draw but believe me FC Barcelona is more inform than Real Madrid, and this will definitely be a heck of a season in the Spanish LA Liga this season.

Barcelona is a team that enjoys scoring a lot of goal so this particular match was just one of their game when everything got into their stride and they match the whole energy as they played very well and enjoy their time. This will send a huge Statement across to the teams of the La Liga and also Europe that they are serious for business as they ain't joking.

Looking at Barcelona's overall gameplay in the first half, I expected Barcelona to win the match 2-0 or 3-1. Because at the end of the first half, Barcelona was only leading by a narrow margin of 1-0. But Barcelona's attacks were quite sharp from the beginning of the second half. Hansi Flick identified Valencia's weaknesses very well. Barcelona scored 3 goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half. Lopez, raphinha and Lewandowski each scored two goals. If Yamal had been present in this match, we would probably have seen goals from Yamal as well.

Barcelona really destroyed Valencia last weekend with a clear 6-0. Barcelona don't used to perform poor when playing with small clubs, they score massively to make them get more goals in the league competition. Since I so the first half have already know that Flick will put more pressure for the players in the dressing room when they went to half time to add more goals. If yamal is in the match I think they will score more goals in the game. Rafinha that just came from substitution as score goals against Valencia. I think Valencia need to rebuild there team because even last season Barcelona beat them both home and away. Flick will be preparing for the Champions League clash against Newcastle and that won't be really tough for Barcelona to win because Newcastle as sell there key player to Liverpool and that will reduce there performance in the pitch, because I don't think if Newcastle will have key player like isak currently in the team. This match between athletico and Villarreal was really am interesting one, and am surprise that no one is really talking about this match between athletico and Villarreal right now, and if I can remember vividly this match was among the heat talk on this thread few days back before today, where a lot of people was projecting Villarreal to win the match due to their performance, but things went the other way round, athletico secure their first triumph of the 2025/2026 LA Liga season with a 2:0 win over Villarreal. Although Villarreal is still in a good position in the LA LIga table fourth place quite impressing, while athletico is in nineth place in the LA LIga table.

Because in the end, even though Atletico won, they didn't really show anything special during the 90 minutes. Even though we could see that their determination and ball control paid off, in the end we could see that their finishing was still problematic, their attacking flow wasn't very good, and they seemed to be playing just to get the win without any deeper initiative in their build-up play.

While we must acknowledge that after a string of poor results, Atletico finally secured their first three points after four matches, this is still insufficient to generate euphoria for them. After all, in terms of their current condition and position, they remain behind, and for La Liga at present, the focus remains the same, with Madrid and Barcelona consistently dominating the headlines.

You're right though, it's still too early to determine if either Barcelona or Madrid would won the league we need to wait till after the January window to judge both sides since they'll still encounter their different obstacles like injuries, fatigue, lack of key players form, card bookings etc. Although Barcelona needs to step up else it could be a big advantage for Real Madrid, remember that they have a new coach with great potential to lead them back to winning the trophy and there an upgrade in several areas of their depth, this season might not be like the previous one where they had an opportunity and wasted it.

I think for me now real madrid is now fully committed towards the league race. Day by day Little by little they are improving in term of thier team performance. I do believe now league were clear and definitely real madrid can dominate the la Liga title, if they maintain their consistency in performance at crucial matches . Honestly after real madrid failed to start the season with good move  everyone criticized Alonso for his managing skills and tactics, but now the thing is going more better than before. Alonso team still has many loop holes no doubt but despite that he still assembled the team. Due to the lack of new players and quality player , he gave priority to this young player and this led to further improvement in the team. Mbappe and Arda are making continued tremendous combinations like Ozil and Ronaldo at thier peak which is a sure indication of team improvement.

If Barcelona could score 6 goals without Lamine Yamal, i wonder what the scoreline would have been if the Spain international footballer was to be featured. Barcelona is trying to score many goals so that it can give them a huge goal difference just like they did last season and i must say it is a good strategy because considering how tensed the battle for the title between them and Real Madrid, they might level points with Real Madrid such that goal difference will be used to differentiate the team that should be at the top. Raphinha came in the second half but he was able to score a brace, it was also impressive to see Lewandowski score his first goal of the season, he even got a brace too.

Yamal's injury is still continuing... He is expected to recover in 2 days but he is still doubtful for the Champions League game ahead against Newcastle. They can actually win without him too though but it would be better to see him back.

Well, Yamal Jamal availability is still doubtful because in today training session I didn't see him; it was like he was not here to train with the regular team players. I hope they will use Raphinha as his replacement in right wing. Yamal Jamal is key player of Hansi Flick system and beyond any adopt his absence can cause a little bit of concern for the team but still we are hoping that Hansi Flick will make better decisions for his replacement for the upcoming match....

Hansi Flick is a bit worried about his injury and due to this, he was too frustrated in the press conference and try to criticize the Luis de la Fuente over Yamal Jamal injury because he wasin pain, but still he utilize him for the match against Turkiye on international break.

Ohh that's so true and every season they go and score a lot against Valencia and every season Valencia can't stop this and they barely score once in a while against Barcelona which is pretty depressing at this point for them . Barcelona has a great season ahead of them even if Yamal got injured they will still have a strong squad who can stay strong enough until Yamal comes back so pretty much they are covered in all positions with great substitutes aswell.

Just today Real Madrid players had to train an hour late just because La Liga officials showed up at their facility to carry out a surprise doping test on the players. Remember that Real Madrid has a Champions League match been Tuesday against Marseille and UEFA are not happy about it because the test will delay Real Madrid in preparation for their own competition. From the look of things, UEFA thought La Liga would have rescheduled their test on another day instead of doing it when their own competition was around the corner.

Who knows what they were suspecting before giving them a surprise visit to conduct the test it could be the energy they have seen in the team especially in their last league game where they were reduced to a team men but they still managed to win 1:2 in the game to take three points in the bag. UEFA doesn't need to get angry over what has taken place already Real Madrid match is on Tuesday if they are able to conclude on the test Real Madrid players will still have up till Wednesday afternoon to train before the game will begin they are not new to delays.

Yes at times kneel injuries usually ends careers of must players but that of  yamal was just a minor knock that can not even keep him till the end of a week, so the probability he can come back to full action is sure and certain. For player like yamal, i think he is too young and the bones of young people heals faster than that of those old players. Looking at Barcelona game yesterday it was am interesting one even with the absence  of some key players they managed to collect the complete points with a magnificent trashing of Valencia without them repling with any goal.
A coach as hensi  flick I think he is a world class coach his ability to discover Barcelona's true form and tactical game patterns that trolls opponents off balance in all game I think indeed he is good at what he is paid for and a team like Manchester united needs someone with his potentials to bring back long lost glory to Manchester united.

Mallorca showed a real fighting spirit but they let their guard down when it mattered the most. After coming back to level the game with the red card that Espanyol had, they [Mallorca] kept hunting for goals and failed to cover their defense which led to Espanyol taking the chance when they saw it ...I must say that Espanyol showed that they deserved to win as they had a more better fighting spirit with 10 men to still get a win against a complete Mallorca side and the fans as well as the manager of the visitors will definitely be unhappy all through the night, 3-2 it ended in favor of Espanyol.

I vividly remember this tank when he was pairing with Pique at Barcelona where he won two Laliga trophies and some domestic cups, at France he was ever present in the team partnering with Raphael Varane and both how now retired due to knee injury lead the French team to the World Cup in 2018, Umtiti special moment of magic still remains that 2018 world cup semi final header against Belgium to send the French team to the World Cup final which they won, surprisingly that was Belgium first lost in over two years then and since then they have not be same again,

Seriously it is disheartening that after that World Cup the knee injury has seriously hindered his progress and since then have been struggling with it, I wasn’t surprised hearing this retirement announcement because I anticipated it right after he was released by Lille and couldn’t find a new club. Sad to see players not reaching their full potential but he is certainly an envy of many who would love to have same career as him
