I don't know if I am following the same La Liga that you guys are following at all. Barcelona is literally leading the league right now, they are at the top spot, albeit with the same points as Madrid I can give you that but at least they are the top team right now until that changes how could anyone say Barcelona is playing a bad season? Don't get me wrong it could be expected of them to be at the top with the players they have but same could be said about Madrid as well, many teams in the world are not leaders of their respective leagues just because they have a good team.

On top of that last game, Messis goal was actually a goal if you ask me, the offside wasn't really an offside depending on if you consider him essential part of the play, the person passing, the person assisting and the person scoring none were offside, someone irrelevant was offside and shouldn't have affected the game.

After all of that, I think penalty wasn't penalty neither, player throw himself to the ground at the sight of the goalkeepr. Just because of this one game, nobody should consider Barcelona bad when they are leading the league, that makes no sense.

Personally, i believe that is was a huge win that Atletico did last night.
They showed that they are able to compete both Real and Barcelona and I would love to see them again chasing the title. The derby of Madrid is going to be very interesting and I hope that Atletico is going to win Real Madrid as well.

It's not about this season. It's 3rd season of Valverde and each season we play even worse. Remember how Barca failed against Roma and Liverpool. Then loss against Valencia in Copa, now against Atletico. And cherry on top that we are still wasting points against bottom table teams. It just can't be justified with level of players that we have. In any other big club Valverde would be sacked long time ago. Now Barca just turning into joke like Man United or Milan. Only individual level of players keep us on the top of table.

In the Spanish super cup final I supported Real Madrid to be champions, because yesterday Atletico Madrid won a dramatic win with Barcelona so I'm sure in the finals there is nothing like that they will play very seriously and also want to defend it.

Remember Zidane already had a tactic when he was in the final of the Real Madrid, especially this against Atl Madrid, I'm sure Atletico's ability will not exceed the Real Madrid.

Betting for Real Madrid's victory like that would be a good choice, considering that Real Madrid is a tough team when in the Final.  and now Zidane is confident that he feels better than before when he won the Champions League.  proven Zidane has many strategies for the team, when against Valencia yesterday Real Madrid used five midfielders. 

Zidane, happy his foster children can understand well the tactics of the five midfielders who applied it against Valencia in the Spanish Super Cup semifinals.  Zidane said he would try other tactics in the next match.

Real Madrid is better than ATM that's for sure. Although Barcelona is slightly better than Real but it failed to pass ATM. Sometimes football isn't about who is better but who has better tactics and luck.
Between the beginning and the end of the game, ATM has changed and Barcelona kind of used to see them just defending so their defence is relaxed and op! Fail!

You don't follow La Liga or Barcelona too often, do you?

Barca being at the top of the league table doesn't hide the fact that they're playing like absolute garbage, and they've been doing so since Valverde took the job a few years ago. Barcelona fans are fed up with the team because 1) the team has no style, 2) players choke in the big stages, 3) head coach is too incompetent.

Barcelona fans are not your typical football fan who's ok with where the team stands in the league table ("well, we play like shit today but we're still leaders, hehe lol"), no, that's for the EPL fans or Serie A fans, barca fans demand, aside from good results, good football, style, a good show, stuff they're used to see. So, if Barcelona drops points against the last team in the league table, and also loses a semi final the way they did, then yes, even if they're leaders in La Liga, it means they're having a really bad season. Hell, season is so bad that Messi had to go to the post-match press conference (if you follow Barcelona FC, you know that doesn't happen very often) in Saudi Arabia to calm the waters 'cause he knew shit was about to go down.

I'm a Barca guy but even I can admit Real is actually probably now better than Barca. The last Clasico proved that. We drew 0-0, but we were under attack so much and only when our magnificent keeper is on his good day we keep out a lot of shots, otherwise we fumble and always leak goals.

And against ATM the same thing happened. We lost to Jan Oblak basically.

Xavi has a good ability to manage the club so if it is confirmed to be managing Barcelona this is great a lot of retired players become coaches of the big clubs like you mentioned.

How are you able to tell if he will be a good manager?

This is just guess work...  Managing a football club and playing football are two different things my friend. Just because someone was good on pitch doesn't men they will automatically be great manager. If this was the case then Theirry Henry, Maradona etc would be excellent managers right now,
