It definitely wasn't a good game for Real Madrid, and they should have won the game not just because it would have been better for them but also it was at the same times as Barcelona lost, which means that Real would have been so close. Now the difference is back to 3 points again, even though Barcelona lost a game, it is not good for Real but at least it is one game difference and can be closed quickly.

I still think that Barcelona is like a deer, running away from a lion, not all lions catch all deers, some deers get away and save themselves, Barcelona may do like that and get the title, but the Lion is chasing there is no doubt about that, Real is trying to catch up and while this week wasn't good for either, we can see Real not make many mistakes all season long.

I know what you mean but in my opinion it is still a point won and not necessarily two points lost. Of course the late timing of the goal makes it feel like a loss, but they still got closer to Barcelona and are now in distance and ready to go for it in El Clasico, which is quite soon and they will play in the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid was playing quite passively for too long during the game. If you want to beat Atletico Madrid, you often need a second goal.
