Actually Valverde isnt too bad to continue to be a coach at Barcelona. It is just that Barcelona might not let them again fail to get the UCL title this season. Their fear is very clear because two years in a row they clearly failed to get the most out of the championship.

I think Barcelona really want to win the UCL and Laliga titles this season and even they are targeting threeble winner for one full season. But as a fan, I have few doubts about their new coach. Not something fantastic, but lets we see, hopefully the club has shown the right coach for their players.

Valverde had spent out his time in Barcelona in my opinion and the club needed a change in style and management. His 2.5 years at Barcelona looks good on paper with the trophies won and matches unbeaten, but the philosophy was fizzling out and the club was struggling to dominate games, too this with humiliating exits from the UCL two seasons running.
And yes, the manager is to blame in situations like this especially with the amount of talent in the current squad.

Valverde did the best he could at that moment, he became a hero of the match and deserves many more minutes.

Why do you think it's unfair decision? Valverde failed many times and he was given many second chances after it. Collapse against Roma and Liverpool, lost Copa final, Supercup semifinal, terrible performance in away games this season - I think it's enough. If it's not his fault, I don't know what to say.
After all, I don't think that Valverde is bad manager. I think he would perfectly fit for teams fighting for Europa league spots or in the middle table. I only can say him thanks for 2 La Liga title and wish him luck in new career chapters.

Bullied you say, how was he, he was hired by his employees and they can terminate his appointment as long as all the agreements are met. If he talks much or not, it doesn't affect his job, as long as he's doing his job well, he could be even dumb and Barcelona would not care.

Valverde did not do a fantastic job imo, it is not even about his decision making, he just wasn't the perfect coach for this team, he didn't have their philosophy, Barcelona needed to rediscover themselves and that's why valverde was relieved of his duty as coach.

With Valverde getting sacked, i thought back was going to hire a world class Coach but they instead when for the less known former Real Betis man. I am just waiting to see how he will perform especially in the Champion's league.

Barcelona officially dismissed the coach Valverde, the position of Valverde was replaced by Quiquie Setien, hopefully with the new coach can bring Barcelona back to play its old game because it is very much awaited by its fans.
This week Barcelona will face Granada with its new coach and we will see how the match will be in the style of a new coach.

Barcelona officially dismissed the coach Valverde, the position of Valverde was replaced by Quiquie Setien, hopefully with the new coach can bring Barcelona back to play its old game because it is very much awaited by its fans.

Don't expect some big changes in such short time.
After all,  Valverde had good results and Barcelona is still leading club in La Liga but obviously good results are not enough when you lead club as Barcelona 😁
New coach don't have experience with such big clubs like Barcelona and I'm not sure if he will have enough authority.
Main problem with Barcelona is that usually 2 or 3 players never play in defense and don't care about this aspect of the match.
When Barcelona play with weaker clubs it's no so big problem but in CL last 2 seasons,  in the matches with Roma and Liverpool we could see all the problems Barcelona have.
Also they depend to much on Messi.
I don't think that new coach can solve this problems or change anything.

its true, Valverde did not do a fantastic therefore he is the first coach fired by Barcelona in 17 years. He was not bad statistically when he coached Barcelona but he did a lot of failures in important matches, such as the biggest 4-0 defeat by Liverpool, then failed to win the Copa del rey and lastly the peak so he was fired is failed in the Spanish Super Cup.

It's a fresh air for vidal, he might would given a chance to perform replacing rakitic... under the new coach .

There's a big risk when he changing 50% of the current Barcelona winning team, changing the way team playing is the key not the players.
Valverde out is the thing that Barcelona fans waiting for long , people get tired of his playing style.

If I remember correctly, Valverde was also the coach of Atletic Bilbao when they defeated Barcelona in the Spanish super cup, although I'm not sure if this could have has an effect on his appointment. In his defense has was prominent for grooming young talents and with the la Masia losing a couple of talents, we needed a coach who would integrate the youth team into the main team.
He was a gamble which didn't stick, Setién is also a gamble. His other qualities would be his football policy similar to that of Barcelona.

Seriously, I didn't even know who the new Barcelona coach was before. I mean that I have never read news about him. Recently I tried to find out his background and which club he had coached. It turns out that in terms of achievement he is still below Valverde. Maybe his game philosophy fits into the culture of Barcelona

Zidane has done a great job rebuilding this team once again since he came back to the team. Because things went to hell when he departed the team due to some issue with Florentino Perez when it came to player signings.

We are still in the middle of the season and too fast to predict especially as fans of course choose their respective teams
When it comes to opportunities, I'm actually more confident Barcelona won but this isn't easy because the competition is very tight
it would be better to wait for the El Clasico match, usually if one wins this match then it becomes a champion.

I feel that this competition exists because real and barca didn't improve their teams but they become both worse.
Especially Real after all those signings is sad to see them having a mediocre performance.
