Sorry I can not agree with you. Buying a new defender would be a waste of money for madrid. Madrid  currently have 10 defenders in their  squad. Carreras, Mendy, Militao, Alaba, Asencio, Rudiger, Huijsen, Carvajal and Alexander arnold are all very talented and deserve a place in the starting  XI. Madrid management bought Huijsen and Alexander Arnold last season. They spent 70 million+ to buy huijsen. Will Madrid buy  a defender again this season? What will madrid do with 10+ defenders in the squad? It would be better to add experienced midfielders to the squad. We still miss Modrich and Toni Kroos.
