Hey I saw yobit ad on CMC, any chance you will open up this campaign to lower ranked members also? I think you will get more customers by paying some of us because I know cmc ads cost a lot.

The marketing department of Yobit does not know how to efficiently manage their marketing. At one side they are paying good amount to display their ads on coinmarketcap but at the same time they are not willing to hire a decent manager for their signature campaign here.

How much does it cost to run an ad on coinmarketcap?

By visiting CMC, saw that ads as well and checked but it came from google ads. Now I wonder how on earth google review yobit as a legitimate site that they are included on their so-called strict rules towards crypto ads Roll Eyes
They have also bought ad spot from Coinamrketcap at the top of website:

There is no public price list of CMC ad spots, you have to contact them through Google Forms:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6ODdnuzoPUe1PxDwGxq0HK9GSEkyzIQQgrVa1k_dxqDdlqQ/viewform
But this thing doesn't prove that OP is official Yobit account. As Quicseller said there are so many fake Yobit accounts on various platforms.
As I remember in past Yobit also advertised on Coinmarketcap (on Bitcointalk ad slots too), so it doesn't prove that they ''expanded their marketing budget''

Shows you how this world operates when money is on the table

My thought is that OP is probably trying to stir up some drama in the forum by creating a fake ANN of an already controversial exchange. i think after the yobit signature ban in the forum. They gave up on their spamming mission here so what we are seeing now is some random chap creating fake accounts and then making fake campaigns that are meant to put the forum on chaos.

I saw ads on coinmarketcap also, are you participants getting paid on time without delay??  I know Yobit has a sort of sketchy history on this forum since they caused a bunch of spam and got banned for 2 months the last time.  I still use yobit myself and never had any problems with their exchange.

I have no idea why Yobit sets their maximum so high. All a 20 post maximum per day does is encourage people to post crap. As for people that actually join this campaign, I will not personally give them red trust. However, if they start spamming the forum, I will use the report to moderator button.

Joined this signature campaign before the 2 month ban. And yes, I'm glad to say that they are paying their participants without any delay during that time. But the worst thing in here is getting ban in this forum for 2 weeks for promoting a scammy exchange. Better to stay away this time.

I'm pretty sure it's around a minimum fee of $10,000 for how many impressions. I've seen some previous documents from CMC back in the day, and I remember those prices.

Anyway, with how long it's been alive for, I'd guess Yobit has spent at least 30,000 USD on the top banner alone, which doesn't count their other marketing fees.

It's great to see community members shut down the campaign instantly, I haven't seen a single poster with a yobit signature for the past 3 days, and I didn't know there was a new signature campaign until today.

I saw ads on coinmarketcap also, are you participants getting paid on time without delay??  I know Yobit has a sort of sketchy history on this forum since they caused a bunch of spam and got banned for 2 months the last time.  I still use yobit myself and never had any problems with their exchange.

Yeah, don't bother. Nothing good will come out of advertising a shitty exchange.

Its nothing but encouraging forum members to be a spammer. Actually its came from their cheap promotional mind which already proven couple of weeks earlier. Still they haven't got the basic knowledge of effective advertising.

One quality poster's signature reflects thousand time better than bunch of spammers.

If they want their reputation to be back, they must do something good Cheesy

They create a lot of scam coins, exist only in his exchange. Created only to take money from people, nothing more. Can we expect something better from there, and that it will not tolerate spammers in his campaign?

If they want their reputation back, they need first to delist or update all altcoin wallet on his platform. They need to stop creating trash like Limbo, Lambo, Yo, Yozi, Liza, Lizun, Yobix ...

Crap coins that they create or find are really not the problem.
Just about every exchange has a bunch of crap coins (or coins people think are crap)
Coins with broken wallets are the problem.
The lack of response is the problem.

But, to give them a bit of a fair shake, compared to other bigger exchanges when it comes to withdrawal issues when it comes to the "bigger" coins (BTC / LTC / ETH) and the like they are no worse then most and even better then some. Although they have and do have issues with those coins now and then, they tend to get resolved.

And also, unlike other exchanges they have yet to spring KYC on you AFTER your deposit.

Just my view.

-Dave

He uses this crap coins to scam people through Investbox, promises a high return rate, dump them to zero then denominate it, and again every two-three weeks circle going from the beginning. it is an organized scam.

It's a trap!!! Don't join or you will be banned too for this.
No. You don't get ban if you wear signature of Yobit.
Wearing signature of Yobit won't lead you to account ban.
Wearing signature of Yobit, and make good posts won't lead you to account ban.
Wearing signature of Yobit, make garbage/spam posts, and get significant reports that accepted by forum moderators, your account might be banned.

I saw the ban ads of Yobit on coinmarketcap.com days ago, but still not know that they actually run their signature in forum or not.
If they can pick some good posters that can join in their campaign then it will be a different situation for them but its not.
If Yobit actually run their campaign, and pay for their supporters, at high rates as we saw, it does not matter for them to hire a highly trusted, and reputable manager. I still don't know why they don't hire a good manager for their campaign, or their campaign is totally a scam one, no payments sent to any supporter so far.
They have also bought ad spot from Coinamrketcap at the top of website:
~snip~
There is no public price list of CMC ad spots, you have to contact them through Google Forms:

But this thing doesn't prove that OP is official Yobit account. As Quicseller said there are so many fake Yobit accounts on various platforms.
As I remember in past Yobit also advertised on Coinmarketcap (on Bitcointalk ad slots too), so it doesn't prove that they ''expanded their marketing budget''
I think this information will make you all shocked.
Yobit actually joined the Advertise on this forum - Rounds 284 & 285
9 @ 0.12
9 @ 0.16
I have no idea why Yobit sets their maximum so high. All a 20 post maximum per day does is encourage people to post crap.
I think 10 posts per day is acceptable. There are users whom make more than 10 good posts per day, but for campaigns, a limitation with 10 posts will be counted per day is good to avoid spam, and abusements.

As for people that actually join this campaign, I will not personally give them red trust. However, if they start spamming the forum, I will use the report to moderator button.
Spam does not relate with trust. You will use trust system inappropriately if you tag spammers with red trust. Report button is good choice.

To All Of The Users That Has An Issue About YOBIT Please Read This:

This ain't going any where if we continue to discuss these issues all over again. I have just found a way for the users who has a problem with their accounts, I just hope you can participate on it calmly. I'm the creator of the group so I will be the one who'll decide whether if one should be banned from the discussion.
Take Note: Please Cool Off your head before getting into the discussion. Also I'm not part of YOBIT or even a Supporter of them.

I joined the group I used to be part of the campaign but that was back 2016 when everything is ok and Yobit is doing great, if you really have direct contact with Yobit support, you are doing a great job, congratulations I don't know how you do it, it's hard to communicate with them, they usually give you vague answer, I hope you succeed in fixing everything.

So just to be clear, they are currently solving their past problems (signature campaign related ones) with you providing some help for them? This is all nice and good but I think it is better for them to solve their issues first before opening a campaign again. As we can already notice, no one will apply because of their past reputation.

Don't get the wrong idea here. I appreciate what you do for the community and I just provided some unsolicited feedback that I see fit.  Wink

Also since they are bidding on forum ad slots and they weren't disqualified, I don't think the admin has an issue with Yobit anymore.

Also since they are bidding on forum ad slots and they weren't disqualified, I don't think the admin has an issue with Yobit anymore.
But they failed with their bids for last two rounds of forum advertise. They stopped running their signature campaign for a long time, so I don't see reason with spam comes from their campaign. It will be interesting if Yobit gets won slot in coming forum advertise, then we will have better overview on their situation here, and with their campaign. The thread created by cabalism and the unofficial telegram group look good enough for the beginning to discover what's going on with Yobit (their customer supports, their campaigns, and more). Just join and see what will happen in that group, and in forum.
