I sent 0.02 (200$+) bitcoins to ChipMixer.com , and after payment confirmed, I "only" received 0.00BTC ... this is what the site says. I tried to contact admin, but he is not responding.

If ChipMixer would ever do an exit scam, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't scam something as small as 0.02.

Try posting here and you might get help: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935098.0

Give them some time to answer you. You can't accuse a service of exit scamming just because of 24 hours of unresponsiveness, especially that there have not been similar reports.

I think they ran out of chips. There is nothing you can do but wait & no exact time when they will resolve this. To get rid of a situation like this next time use WasabiWallet.

Have you tried waiting for a reply? ChipMixer already mixed more than 4800 BTC from a single person without scamming, and paid 1.2BTC this week alone for their signature campaign. Do you really think they would exit scam for $200? Don't start calling an exit scam after 24 hours.

Why they would pay so much for a non-profit website?
They are no profitable organisation they will charge fee when you mix your coins form this they are making their revenues.

So they are paying to get advertised by the forum members and also on ad slots.

Who said they are a non-profit website?? How would they maintain themselves if they pay a lot of fees to create their chips?

Damn. Somehow i missed this. This is really, really impressive. I assume they didn't receive the 4800 BTC in a single go, but still this goes a long way to proving that Chipmixer is either a honeypot Tongue or pretty legit, as the article does seem to insinuate that the funds flowed in in vast amounts.. (Thus the perfect time to exit scam, if they had wanted.)

Why they would pay so much for a non-profit website?

It's not a non-profit if they can clearly make more than enough from voluntary fees/donations, because they can afford to pay ~$60k or so monthly for their signature ad campaign.

First time to see this also which is really amazing and about OP's issue, how come they would just turn out to be a scam just having an issue with $200? hehe.
@OP just wait up for their response and don't worry yet you are dealing with a legit Mixer.

It has happend before to another user  (But with 1BTC)

Yuri Jhonny is correct. He visited our service, deposited BTC to our deposit address and our service did not give him chips nor vouchers. We are sorry for that. He received his chips after support intervention.

We are investigating what went wrong. We will update this post.

So it might actually be a real problem on Chipmixer's side. (and a recurring issue in that case, which doesn't look that good.)

The reality is slightly less exciting than the headline:

Quote
183 BTC were identified as hacker funds after attempted laundering, while another 814 BTC are likely to be confirmed as hacker funds, pending confirmation once those funds start moving.

Still impressive nonetheless, and shows that Chipmixer is handling many thousands of bitcoins at once. I wouldn't worry about trusting them with 0.02 bitcoins. Cheesy

Chipmixer is one of the popular cryptocurrency’s mixer companies and I believe they handle millions of dollars services  daily. It might not be intentional that @op 0.02btc is turning to 0.00btc and like others has said “you might needs to be patient and comments in their Ann thread will also help”.
Many reputable personalities in this forum are advertising chipmixer through campaign and I have never had any complaints except this.

I am not saying they are exit scamming, however if they were, they would not scam only one person. They would very likely scam many people who are trusting them with coin, and who will trust them with coin shortly after the exit scam starts.

I dont believe merely not crediting an account is a sign of exit scamming. I think it would be more likely this is a customer service issue as others have indicated.

Are you serious? You are accusing a million dollar company of exit scam for just because you don't get your 0.02 BTC?
I tell you, I've been using the site from time to time and I never face a single problem, I did transaction higher that 0.02 btc and I really trust them.

Don't rush into conclusion, just post a complete information with evidence so you will be help here, I'm pretty sure this problem will be solve easily.

Maybe they REALLY don't like this user so decided to take the opportunity to deprive him of his money and throw in the towel at the same time.

Other than that voice one's concern and wait for them to address it. Every case I've seen mentioned on here got sorted in the end.

Where/How did you try to contact them?

Did you send an email to
Code:
chipmixer@protonmail.com

If so, try to wait a bit longer, as it looks like they've been offline for the last couple of days. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1003345

I do agree with you though, this is not something that should happen, and chipmixer should give clarity faster about your issue, and whether it's a fault on their end, or yours.

Why don't you open a scam accusation thread against them - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

I think you believe it yourself that they cannot do this, so wait for their response. Ask yourself, a service that spent more than BTC200 and still spending each week through their campaign would scam you for your 2 cents? Yes, BTC0.02 is 2 cents for them calling their loyalty towards their services so far.

I do agree with you though, this is not something that should happen, and chipmixer should give clarity faster about your issue, and whether it's a fault on their end, or yours.

I'm taking a guess here, but it's very likely operated by just one person with also other things on his mind. This isn't a traditional business and there is always a risk to ANY centralized entity you send coins to that things can go wrong. I'm confident that ChipMixer will sort it out as usual, but it requires some patience in this case.

This case reminds me of; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5173144.0 where ChipMixer admitted that the error was on their side and as expected the user got his funds.

I sent 0.02 (200$+) bitcoins to ChipMixer.com , and after payment confirmed, I "only" received 0.00BTC ... this is what the site says. I tried to contact admin, but he is not responding.

LMAO, why they want to exit scam with just bringing $200?
Chipmixer is one of the most popular crypto mixers in this crypto world, they already doing a million-dollar transaction in crypto.
I believe is just some technical problem on their system...

OP please change title's thread because that sounds very unfair. Their strategy never was to scam people, otherwise they would do everything differently. They decided to be a fair mixer and get very famous name like bitmixer, now they are really leaders.
There are a lot of reasons why they won't do exit scam, let's start:
1. They are very famous and you know what kind of transactions usually are made through mixers, so their exit scam is huge alarm which they don't want to be turned.
2. Mixer is an amazing automatic profit machine.
3. Scam will be only with huge, huge amount of money and it's still subject of doubt, does some bitcoins worth more than free life?
4. Still a lot of reasons.

One of the possible reason maybe they are having a technical problem these few days, and I suspected that because on this topic that they are facing now. It is bad for their reputation to help scammer on Binance tumbled on chipmixer. I don't if $200 worth of bitcoin will enough for them to exit scam that Op accusing(probably not).
Anyway OP, are you sure that you are in the right link of chipmixer? or you are fall in a phishing site?

On a very different note than OP, I want to ask you that if you are offering a service that is usable Independently by anyone, how can they keep a watch on people who are using their services to tumble the coins for a criminal cause? If it is brought to their attention then I don't think that Chipmixer guys are the ones who will favor the guy. I have used their services once and I can say that they are punctual at doing their job properly. This thing that OP is facing might be due to them having issues with what happened and so they could be stopping users for some time till their services resume to work normally.

Why should they care? They are not tracking nor analyzing their users. If you want to discuss this, open your own thread.

Also, read the replies before posting stuff (all of the guys above). I already linked a reply from ChipMixer that said the user didn't receive his coins due to a bug and that they gave him his coins. No need to keep speculating like no one knew what happened. Learn to read first, post later.

They should care for it or they will end up grabbed by laws and shut down - my personal views as I have seen some good mixers being shut by not abiding by the laws, though I know CM knows their job better and they are my personal favorite. Sorry if I sound wrong as well as for the 'speculation' as I didn't knew about the bug.

Yeah man, they will also probably just implement KYC to avoid getting shut down by the gov, right? Rofl.

I never said that but then such a service will only help criminals to get their tainted Bitcoins or BTC gained through criminal activities shuffled by them and have them saved. I bet they currently have the choice of helping out in such cases as they have got all the details in the end like transaction timestamps, id's and everything as well as the transactions that they sent? No?

Which is a slippery slope, and something that would make Chipmixer totally untrustworthy. What's next, you want Chipmixer to give every Bitcoin coming from Casinos, Darknet markets, bounty campaigns (yes most of those can be considered illegal too, and non-registered exchanges (yobit)) to authorities?

The same analogy that you're using on Chipmixer can also be used on the service you're advertising:
The service you're advertising with "No KYC verification" will also only help out criminals who are looking to cash out their "hacked" Ethereum, and yours is even worse considering it's a gateway to real money, whereas Chipmixer is simply a shuffler. Why are they not introducing forced KYC on every customer like LocalBitcoins does?

Besides, even if they would help authorities out, it would still be useless, as it won't sway their opinion of them, namely what you described; them being a service for criminals.

Exactly what Adolfin said above. Also, WHO decides who are criminals? The government? So, basically you want ChipMixer and any other mixer to be a honeypot for the gov? If they say someone is a criminal, they should just save and handle them everything about the user, otherwise they get shutdown? Why the heck would anyone even use a mixer if they basically work for the gov?

And no. They don't have all the details because they don't save their costumers data. That's the entire point of a mixer.
