I haven't heard their latest news, but I remember when I saw the site but forgot the link, and it was said that their team and management immediately released a Libra coin in mid-2020. But it's not certain, it's better to wait for the news of certainty. Usually their news quickly spreads widely because crypto users also expect and wait for their coins to be released.

From the past weeks I did not see and read news and libra project. And I think there is something wrong to their project because all we know that they prepared in a very short period of time to launched their project, so I already expect this kind of problem because unlike other successful project they plan and prepared well for a year before launching the project.

I think that is one of the reason of the postponement of the libra coin project the team member of these project is start to prepare and study for the good of the libra become successfuli.

I think jazmusika217 is correct  the team is in the period of preparation that is the reason team start to lainch libra coin in the middle of 2020 to makes sure the success.

I saw an announcement some weeks back that they may never release the project because of the stiff opposition they are getting from government and I think it is really a serious matter as I aloes heard that the G7 summit that was conducted of recent was seriously against it and has directed its member never to allow the project to fly.

I want to believe that is what is presently making the hype to die down, except maybe they are still developing the project since it was 2020 that they initially promised the public to release the coin, but before that 2020, they ought to have been given update on the development of the project and keep sending reminder to people so that the hype can still be on, but if by December, nothing has still been done to update the public, then the project may be already dead.

From what I read, Libra Coin is still constrained by regulations but I think Libra Coin will still be made. Facebook is a big company and I think it has a good legal team to look for legal loopholes so that Libra Coin becomes legal and complies with government regulations

we might be needing other crypto and make libre the crypto currency, but the government don't want that to happen

There were scams that lately comes around on the social media. The project is on the hype and there are abusers that would take advantage to the people that are interested to it but are not aware of the current situation of the project.
If by chance there's someone that asks you about it and he's being fooled by those posts on the social media platforms, warn him/her.

Facebook that is very smart, you think that they will not eventually find a way out, this is blockchain technology, and if other companies can be running it without government going after them, then why would Facebook be the first they will deny of same thing. I am sure even government does not have intention of doing so which is why they want to understand everything about his proposal, if they are convinced about it, then I am sure that they will allow him to run his project smoothly.

Many of the people that have been opposing the project may just be doing it blindly because I see no reason opposing a project when you have not really seen the framework of feel s its effect on whatever we claim it will have effect on, so Facebook may actually survive it.

I heard the latest news about the launch which was postponed until 2020,
but surprisingly there are still many people who send the ICO libra site, I think it's a scammer, and for ICO Libra I also haven't gotten clear news when to start ICO.

Though am very strange to this information because I never heard of them having prepared for ICOs. I think that, Libra was postponed because of the misunderstanding of the said currency which they have not clear from the regulators. Their launch was slated to take place in 2020 and this should be a catalyst to speed up the price if Bitcoin.

Libra project was going to start anytime soon, all they did was to create an awareness and proposal, they only wanted to know how to community would feel about it.

Libra project doesn't seem to go very well. There is still some support from companies already in cryptos. But i don't think we will see a new coin from Facebook. The hype of Libra was just an excuse for whales to pump the price of bitcoin.

The head of Facebook was at a hearing in the US Senate, where he gave explanations about his new project. As far as I heard the hearings were very stormy.
Libra still has not received the full approval of the SEC, but already plans to launch its bounty campaign in the near future.

Libra coin has focus to kill top coin by same service provide. For Facebook user this service is easy for send money worldwide. Someday, This service can killed top coin demand.

   They already have problems with governments regulations, U.S. officials made some announcements regarding Libra coin. They can`t do what ever they want, Facebook

I do not think that there are any new updates about libra project lately. I think Libra team is doing internal homework for the launch of the project. Following concerns from the US, it may be planning to satisfy regulators and issue the project after completing regulation measures. Get ready for its launch.
