I think you may have misunderstood. The phrase;

To me, means they are asking for ideas, not money. Seems pretty clear.. I don't see any reason to cry scam quite yet. They are gathering input for a coin at least 3 weeks away.. seems responsible enough to me so far. I know of a few people who could provide some very valuable input and create some mind blowing conversation on this topic, if they were interested enough to do so.

I already voted for Adaptive-N Scrypt. Too bad X11 was not an option, I would have chosen that without blinking...

I suggest you start with a very low, increasing block reward, reaching maximum value at the end of day 1. KGW can set in after that.

What's the difference if a GPU farm or a gridseed farm or bot farm or an asic rapes the coin? or if the DEV Premines the shit out of it prior to an IPO.

GPUs are fair, because GPU distribution is (relatively) fair (aside from jacked up prices in USA at the beginning of the year), while ASICs are hard to get, and at the beginning they are esclusively in the hands of a small amount of people.
