Investing in multiple altcoins

One issue while holding a large number of cryptocoins is regarding the coin storage. How are you going to hold this many coins? The easiest way is to hold them in exchange wallets (Binance, Huobi.etc). But with the frequency of exchanges getting hacked, I don't really think that it is a safe way to hold your money. Another option is to hold them in multi-coin desktop wallets (such as CoinSpot, Trust Wallet and Exodus), but I am not very familiar with them and I don't think that they are easy to use (or safe to use).

I use FreeWallet to hold multiple currencies at one place. It is online wallet and don't provide private keys but since the value of my coins are not enough, I am not concerned much. You can try it too, it is easy to use as well as provide option to buy coins within the app. Also, the interface of app is quite good. It provides value of coins in both BTC and USD terms.

Using metamask wallet is which I also think safe for multiple altcoins which we're going to hold for such a long time. Investing with those potentially gaining coins is quite bit risky, since the market has not growing successively right now. Waiting time is really a big struggle for all traders who still patiently choosing to wait instead of ranting unto something that could make them panic and give up their asset.

Your choices of altcoins is very good i think. The only problem is to be able to follow all the altcoins you possess everyday. If you don't trade daily, it is fine i think. Learn how any of thoses coins work before buying them as you could make sometimes some mistakes if you want to stake them.

Ok guys so I have 500 CAD left to invest in altcoins, I decided to invest 3000 CAD in bitcoin and leave it like that. So for that 500 CAD (377 USD), please tell me if this makes sense. (I want to own a broad portfolio of multiple coins that have good odds for the future). All amounts are in USD for a total of $370. I'm open to suggestions.

To me it seems as if you are diluting your money too much, you are attempting to buy too many coins with a very low amount of money, it is better that you select 5 of those coins and you divide your 377 dollars among those coins, if I were you I will choose ETH, LTC, BNB, BAT and EOS as the coins where I put my money, however those are my preferences and a case could be made for many of the coins in your list and for other coins you did not included in your list.

I myself am interested in Tron, even most of my assets are in the form of Tron. Because the price is still low, so despite the small capital we can buy it. Maybe in one year the price of Tron will increase, at least with a price of $ 0.1 we can get a big profit.

I think the rate of Enjin in this portfolio is very high. You can completely remove it and replace it with ATOM. Enjin hasn't given me much confidence lately. You should also increase the ETH rate.

Investing in different altcoins is always a good choice compared to having funds on very specific assets. From my view if these very specific altcoins were of the top listed ones, then it seems to be a right pick. If not, diversifying on different altcoins based on the growth chart is the good choice.

Looking upon the investment plan of Op it is done good with most of the coins with good potential as well as good trading volume.

Even here luck play its role, the unexpected grows. This will take the portfolio value go much higher. Need to analyze and invest on such kind of altcoins.

Don't split your investment too tiny across many Altcoins, invest I. Say 5 or less to enable you have control over it easily. Multiple investment makes portfolio split in such a way that profits are not really fektaos ese tokens portfolio management becomes difficult as well.

You are the one that needs to take that decision since you are the one that will have to live with it, but ethereum is without a doubt one of the best altcoins you can buy and if you feel that no matter what happens you can hold your ethereum for a few years then this could be one of the best investments that you could make in your life, but if you are someone that gets scared easily as soon as the price begins to go down then it could be a good moment to wait for the price of ethereum to go down.

if I prefer to spend my money to invest in bitcoin and ethereum. why did I only choose these two coins? because if I pay attention when bitcoin goes down, ethereum and most of altcoin will also decrease. so I think it will be useless if we invest in some type of altcoin. all of the coins we buy also decline. it's better to invest in the main coins of bitcoin and ethereum even though we have to be patient waiting for the price of bitcoin to rise again. and we also don't need to worry about coins losing. because it has been proven that these two coins have lasted a long time in cryptocurrency.

It's really surprising that you couldn't hold any Bitcoin which is the best for both investment and holding, I don't know what's your strategy but if I were you then Bitcoin would be my first choice, except this one, You made a good total, I also have some Litecoin, Ethereum and some other coins, but this investment doesn't make me satisfies anymore because the market is not going well in recent time, but I like your way of investment in many coins which will bring a good result in the future, if one will down then another will work as recovery price, and Ethereum will surely bring a good outcome in the future because it has a lot of potential for the future purpose. whatever the case, I wish you good luck.

If you want to invest a lot in some Altcoin in my opinion that's a good idea, but you also have to choose Altcoin which is good and potentially profitable and there is movement in the market.
because what I see on the market are some Altcoins that only move very little, and some don't move at all like dead coins.
Altcoin that I think is good is Ethereum, Litecoin, Xrp, Bnb and Bch.

I think the best opportunity now lies with BNB. BNB price increases continue to occur. Because the user's trust in the Binance exchange affects the price of BNB coins. If you want to invest, just buy BNB, and hold it for a long time.

BNB Coin and Litecoin can be an option for the long term. We know that BNB Coin has begun to be traded in large exchangers and has the potential to enter the top 5 coinmarketcaps. Litecoin is a coin with a solid developer team and I think will continue to have great liquidity

These coins will do, as I've said with the current market sightings now. I'd be willing to sell the others for the sake of these coins.

You are probably correct.  On the other hand, the op's list could serve as a kind of lottery ticket.  Some of those coins are solid ones to own, while others are very speculative.  It's the latter which could prove to be big winners, and since the amount of money he's putting into them isn't outrageous I would say his choices are fairly good.

Yeah if it were me choosing how to invest some money bitcoin would be my first pick.  Some traders want to gamble on the chance that there are some overlooked goodies out there in the altcoin market, which there could be.  I have a feeling that most of the ones on that list aren't going to outperform bitcoin, tho.
