I really do not think that the next bull run wont affect altcoins because these investors would be purely be only focused on bitcoin.

They are hinting that most of the money would come from institutional investors. Smart money tend to take the less risky investments.

If the trend will happen again, we can expect that investors will also put their money in altcoins.
Let's say the institutional investors will likely focus on bitcoin, of course that is possible because they want a strong asset and that is clearly bitcoin.

However, due to the bull run, FOMO could happen and when we say FOMO, regular investors will come into FOMO and they will be the one who will mostly touch altcoins so that would result to an increase of altcoins as well, the reality says that the last bull run the most profits are coming from altcoins.

Sure, the bull run will happen and solid altcoins will follow because I don’t like to generalize it when we talk of altcoins following bitcoin, since they all have their own real use case and they all have their separate market, I believe that they all have their own separate market and they different conditions that is helping them grow.

When bitcoin bull run starts, the coins that I expect to grow along with it are just those altcoins that are within the top 50 or we could extend to the top 100 sometimes for the ones that their function is solid. Most times that altcoins generally rise in price is not when they bitcoin rise but when bitcoin goes on consolidation and either do we see increase or decrease, then investors tarts to focus on investing on altcoins.

When the entire market starts to bloom or lets say theres already a bull run then rank 10-20 are mostly being dragged up but not all the times because when Bitcoin solely

I've missed that thing also but have to accept the reality that bullish is truly hard to get back. We suffer huge declining sentiment last year and losses but still, we are able to survive by then. The latest one a couple of days ago made some headway but prices seem to be stabilising again now. I think the near future is more about resisting price drops than getting ready for more bullish behaviour. actually there's no way that bitcoin progress can't influence altcoins. Because indeed when there's a positive impact on bitcoin and once it gradually increasing some altcoin are following as well.. so be ready fo that next ride 'cause it will be the next opportunity for us to gain good return again in different coins. .  But i suggest must pick those who really follows bitcoin because you know there are some also that during the bullish scenario some of them suddenly plunges down without specific reasons. .

Now the price of bitcoin and almost all altcoin is reduced.So this is the best time to hold the coin in your wallet ,instead of converting into FIAT.Some people converting their crypto into FIAT,if the price of holding coin is reduced. But holding without panic is better option.Holding for future is good solution.

I was hoping for a fall pump but to be honest there is still major overcapacity in mining and so selling pressure will always be there until the worst idiots with money close up shop, like in 2014/2015.  But do not despair, fall 2020 is probably where its going to be at, probably to 85k

It is time for a market move. We have been treading water for a while now. The last mini dip seems to have hit solid support. I suppose there is more downwards than upwards pressure at the moment, but it's still quite difficult to say what will happen other than it feels increasingly likely that we will see sustained movement of some sort quite soon. Whichever way it goes, I would expect alts to follow along with BTC, probably suffering worse than BTC in price drops and gaining less in price rises - largely because overall crypto sentiment is still quite uncertain following the massive bear market we had. BTC is the biggest coin and most resistant to price drops, so it is to an extent a safe haven, hence why it gains more and drops less than alts. I would only expect alts to take over once we have widespread extremely bullish sentiment.

We have been having series of constant resistance more than even the bullish trend for a while now, but I think this would be the last resistance, the moment that the bull can stabilize and then push it further to $10k would be the beginning of another bull run, I think this down value now is to enable the bulls gain more momentum with the support of many other new investor that will be seeing this new price as a good price for them to buy, and I am sure that within the next few days before the price bounces back, they will be doing more of accumulation of bitcoin now.

I am quite optimistic that as we are  entering September, we will see another bull run that will take us to $13,000 before we heard further for $15000 before the last quarter of the ear ended.

And to me that is much better than a ride to the top without resistance,,, which is sort of what happened in 2017 and that was the whole reason the winter came and has not gone. There was no point to build support and strength. When you blow up like that and it bursts it is going to be a huge deflation and super correction which is exactly what happened to us.

If bullish trend occur we can see an ath for bitcoin again but for altcoins? only popular and has real use cases will make it to follow bitcoin.

We are hoping altcoins will follow once btc recover but this is not the case always.

It takes time before we can see a major changes and I think this is not the year for it though there might be a recovery before this year end.
