Hey! I want to know how to purchase crypto safe. I don't want hackers to steal my money, and I don't want exchanges to sell my personal data. And is it safe using non custodial exchanges like changelly and shapeshift. Please help!
In our country which is Philippines there is what we called coins.ph in which we can cash in a money and through 7/11 we can get it in our coins.ph to buy or convert our money into cryptocurrency which is bitcoin, ethereum,xrp or bitcoin cash, you can also do is to deposit a money into a bank then transfer it into your exchanger like binance or etc. to buy some crypto. There is so many safe way in order for you to buy crypto in some exchangers, just make sure that the exchanger is good and legit enough. Using financial services such as coins.ph is one of the best ways for a newbie to buy bitcoin. I also use coins.ph sometimes, just by going to a convenience store we can exchange fiat to e-money that we can buy bitcoin as easy as that. If ever that there is a local financial service in OP's country then it is his best option to buy bitcoin without revealing his identity. |

Decentralized exchange is the best place for you then. changelly is safe to use and i've been using it for a month and trade safely. Also if you want to trade erc-20 tokens there is IDEX which can covered your all tokens directly from your wallet. But if you don't want trade on exchange because you want to send your personal data, you can sell yours to people directly by personal message or something like that but using escrow. But you will pay extraa fee for the escrow. |

I think Binance Exchange can be an option for you to buy Crypto which is safe and reliable. If you intend to save your Crypto then I recommend to you to use a hardware wallet, do not store your Crypto on the Exchange unless your Crypto is for trading.

Popular exchange such as binance may be the option he is looking for. We know that binance is a good exchange and it is the biggest exchange as of now. Or maybe he can go to yobit which is KYC is not needed to buy and withdraw funds from the exchange. I do agree, storing funds in an exchange is not advisable, you might lose it or if your account has been compromised the chances for your funds to be recovered is impossible. Better to use a bitcoin wallets such as a hardware wallet or a mobile application wallet. |

Many platforms nowadays use KYC and some hates it because technically, you are not anonymous anymore. This is because someone else knows now that you have an use crypto even though they do not know the specifics. KYC is common for those who want to cash outbor convert their crypto to fiat and the fees can be high depends on the exchange and to the financial institution it will pass on. I think if we want safety then it id important for us as well to contribute like to give out KYC and not I mind giving information so I also have seen so many sites selling coins which demands KYC. I like this forum where we can get a safe investment of our money that's why I just read the post here and if you get a chance I spend fearlessly to buy bitcoin. |

you have 2 ways: 1. buying in DEX such as bancor, wavesDEX, etc. 9 Best Decentralized Exchanges That You Can Use To Trade NOW2. buy on CEX such as binance, bittrex. but it just can be bought under 2 btc. above that you'll need KYC. after buying on CEX, transfer it on your own wallet, dont safe on that CEX 1 Dex is having low liquidity and that means you will get a chance to get in the low rate or even highest rate. it's not a recommended way to buy crypto through use dex caused by the liqudity. 2 KYC verification doesn't matter a lot and 2 bitcoin is a daily limit and im sure everyone will be fine about that consider about the daily limit is so huge. If you have reached the daily limit and buy again tomorrow. 1 let's focus on OP question, OP wanna buy crypto in the safest way. so i recommend DEX bcz of it's safer than CEX of course. let's assume that OP doesnt care wheter it is liquid or not. 2. You said you want to buy crypto. lots of crypto is exchanged. But you don't want it. I assume you want to buy privately. You can buy bitcoin at a bitcoin ATM. it doesn't need your identity. but if it's not there, I think the best way is through an official bitcoin exchange. because security is guaranteed, convenient, through a debit or credit card. like bittrex, binance, etc. after that you can move your crypto in your personal wallet. and the safest is the hardware wallet. |

You can use luno, the app is available on playstore and ios and they support many countries worldwide, luno accept deposits from your bank account for bitcoin, bitcoin cash and Ethereum, you can trade on luno as well, binance is another good option, you will only have to go through KYC if you want to buy over 3k worth of bitcoin |

All of us do not want hackers to steal our money that's why we should be careful. As of now, there are plenty of good and trusted cryptocurrency exchanges where you can easily buy different cryptocurrencies. All major exchange has KYC that you need to pass some ID so your account will be verified. Lastly, if you want to have safe and smooth transactions I highly recommend using a trusted and reputable exchange just like binance and bittrex. |

It still depends, providing your credit card information will still be risky if you execute it wrong. One thing that we need to consider is when typing it to the correct website since most of the times, phishing might attack us and since there's no system that is safe. We should increase our sense of responsibility. But I can recommend where to buy cryptocurrency. You can check if you have a convenience store in your area that offers crypto, there, you can pay and let them scan your wallet. It is much safer as you are buying crypto directly, without the risk of getting phished. |

The safest way to buy crypto is a P2P transaction. In which you'll obligate the trader a public place(for safetiness). That's the best way. But, if you don't want to give your information, since its P2P, you're obligated to give info, your name for the other trader's security. You should consider making an account at binance. Without KYC you can withdraw 2 BTC per day.

In what country are you based ? There are a lot of local exchanges in a lot of countries where you can go and buy Bitcoin without any trouble. Per example in my country I have a lot of options to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum even from my local grocery store when they have this mini ATM's who are having cryptos incorporated into the system or simply go to my local exchange in center of the city. So just check your local exchange and also see localbitcoins.com if you have some trusty members in the zone.

Crypto can be very dangerous especially if you do not understand the importance of KYC, but if you really do not want KYC, you can buy with your credit card. And you can buy it on Yobit Exchange and other exchnages without using your personal data.
In our country there is also a crypto currency exchange and they are registered with our central bank, so if they do something illegal we can file a case for them.

Cryptocurrency dealing can be very risky and dangerous especially when you don't really know what entails in its transaction. I would say there are many local exchanges for transactions but you need to be cautious. Aside that, be mindful about KYC. I believe KYC so far minimises the occurrence of theft cases especially when buying crypto so look out for projects which request KYC.

The safest way is to find an exchange in your country which provides you Buying and selling services for Bitcoins online, once you find one, buy Bitcoins and keep them safe in your wallet. for your reference, you can try LocalBitcoin.
Otherwise, use only trusted and reputable exchange. That’s the main key. Never go with some unknown exchanges. You will burn, trust me.
