I don't think it will be useful, let's look at unknown teams, unclear projects, website layout looks very bad. I am absolutely sure this is not legit. And free tokens are usually from airdrop. There is nothing wrong with a free token, but it's worth or not depends on the project being carried out.
Anything that comes too easy is not good to completely rely on, I perfectly understand that some of these are just strategies to market their product to the world out there, and just like you stated, there is nothing bad in actually having those airdrops, but we should never pay attention to them to the extent of relying on them rather than going for some other activities within the ICO that can still guarantee a future income when they start building up.
The best way to earn money still for now is to work for some ICO, irrespective of bad ICO that we have, there are still so many good ICO that I have participated in and has paid me. I only ensure that I do my won perfect research before giving my fund to any of those projects. So there should be a balance between the free tokens and the ones that are worked for.
