I just received some of the tokens I've promoted in the bounty campaign, some of these coins reach their soft cap or able to generate funds in their ICO stages but I was disappointed seeing all these coins down 90% or no buy order at all when it hit the market.

And to think some of them included in their promotion that they will not let the price go down in their ICO price, do you think it's still worth investing in ICO if there is no uncertainty that you will a make a profit, or is it because Bitcoin dominance left no room for new coins to grow in the market?

if their team member still active in conversation and develop the project regularly, i think there is a chance to hold the tokens for long term,,
but if their team stay quiet and gone,, just sell it as soon as possible mate

but, if you believe your token or coin is a good one, i think hodl is the best idea

We cannot do anything as it all about the market. If the project is very promising, then people will buy and sell the tokens and they don't just to make a profit. Maybe we are seeing this is happening with almost tokens at the market and we ask why it could happen. Well, that is the market. If people think that the project is not worth, then they will not buy the tokens or coins even with the low price.

That's very disappointing you are expecting to have at least a good amount as compensation for your works because  bounty campaigns took three to a year of works, but what can you do the coin is not gaining momentum in the market, you have a choice to sell your coin or wait for the price to gain momentum.

The price depends on that project quality, future updates and exchanges. The project has no updates or not in top exchanges, the price will down. The IEO is still profitable right now. Because the IEO is doing by the exchanges. That means that the project is giving a guarantee to list on that exchange.

The mistake developers make with new projects is they list their token on any exchange they see fit and before you know it lack of liquidity and volume will affect the token price.

Its better to invest in projects from top exchanges,forget ICO because they are risky than others,go for IEO projects instead and make sure you invest in IEO projects from binance or okex exchange

I'm surprised that this came as something new to you. I mean ICO tokens dropping to 90% of their ICO price is like old news already.

LIES. This should have been a red flag since they cannot control at what price token holders will sell. They can only do that if they lock everyone's tokens

Invest during the ICO? No.
Invest after price dropped 90%? If they have a use case and a good team, maybe it's worth investing a little. These are high risk high reward investments so throwing in a few may be extremely profitable in the future.

They promised this? come on, don't let your guard off with these promises. How many promises has been made by those projects before that they won't let the price down? the price is being determined by the demand and supply so if there's no demand, it's going to go down.

I really don't know what to say,many bounty projects are not worth promoting anymore and its just like every other ICO projects,to make better profit in crypto investment now you have to

1. Invest in IEO projects rather than ICO projects
2. Choose IEO projects from top exchanges only for successful outcome
3. Promote bounties that have a real life use cases but mind you its all about how lucky you are now,unfortunately there is no better way to detect which project will do fine or which one will turn scam

Nothing can I do except let the token on my wallet forever with hoping some miracle this token price pumped on the market someday...

Too many altcoins lost their value already due to this present market condition which is very hurting to all investors out there,for me i just pretend as if im not been affected and still i keep on investing and taking advantage of the price drop,more quantities of tokens at my disposal

The reason why i keep doing this is that i still believe that we have hope left,things always find there ways of working out so crypto will do the same,lets hope it favours in the end

If the ICO project is a ETH BASED smart contract it will surely be affected by the value of Ethereum,many tokens are erc20 so they surge in value only when ETH rise up in value unless the token find solution to the problem like burning off some quantities in supply or the token sees a better adoption rate on its own

The only investor's option is to wait for the price to get better and that means waiting for several months again, or he can sell at a loss although not recommend but there is a risk that the price will go zero if developers cannot support the price or they failed to attract investors.

I would feel bad. Promoting failed projects can affect people that you invited, losing trust in such a big deal. 90% is such a big fall
Losing its value in small percentage is normal, usually when it just started. Prices will eventually build up. I would wait as long as the project has potential.

All of us are in the same boat even if we belong to bounty hunters group or ico investors group, nothing seems to be working at the moment and seems like that the golden era of icos is already over but i still hope i will be wrong and soon their will be a complete change in market dynamics and this market will again boom making all its related businesses profitable again.

The advantage in ICO investment is certainly not certain. All that depends on the project team concerned.
Sometimes the price of a token can be affected by a bonus at the time of sale. With that many who buy a lot of course get a big bonus. This can greatly affect the value of tokens when they are on the market.

 I have a similar situation: by participating in the bounty project I got a good reward and also invested in tokens hoping for a big profit.  The team is still actively developing the project and promoting its idea, but today the price of the token has become very low and continues to fall, and it is very sad. Investing in ICO we always risk losing the invested funds, as we do not know what will be the price of tokens after it goes public and what will happen to the project in the future.
