if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
altcoins always follow the movements of bitcoin as you can see now, when the price of bitcoin down hard, altcoins fall deeper in usd terms right ? but, in bitcoin terms a lot of altcoins in green colour

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

And one thing I need to fix is that not only does altcoin plummet at usdt, it plummets at bitcoin, although the past few hours have been an altcoin green, unfortunately, this improvement seems to be about to turn off

If the price drops we can hold the bitcoin and we can see the profit after sometime when the market boom back, but we need to look about the problems in altcoins market also. These altcoins bumping very little at the big hype for bitcoin and at the same time when there is fall means all the altcoins fall together. So we think it deeply holding altcoins at the dump is really stupid idea, I suggest them to trade over the exchanges.

if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
According to my own experience if btc drops, the same happens to most of alts, only a few are not affected, the best time to trade alts is when btc is stabilized, also traders buy stable coins when btc drops. Currently it exists a project called mintMe where traders and investors can deal with entrepenuers by buying custom tokens that belongs to a particular project, this tokens can be created at the same mintMe platform. That's because of money coming into the market. In order to buy alts, you pretty much need Bitcoin. Sure, there's exchanges with USD listings, but you're still going to trade for Bitcoin then trade the Bitcoin to get the alts. This is why when you see the Bitcoin market cap up higher, all the alts also seem to be going up in price as well.

In fact, the situation has changed and this year to buy Altcoins you need USDT, not Bitcoin. Bitcoin is losing its liquidity in the cryptocurrency market, a lot of trading pairs have been created in relation to USDT.

The domino effects mostly being seen when bull rallied and pumped hard the market, bitcoin value lift up those quality alts and bring them to a good momentum. Same deal when bitcoin suffered, most investors are afraid to divert instead of buying alts, converting to stable coin is one of the option, till the value bring good sign again it will move the market back, entire cycle will follow.

alts will certainly decrease by bitcoin and even more than bitcoin. This is a pretty bad situation for alts and the crypto market. We really need a force of new investors to pour money into the market and save holders. If this situation continues until the end of the year, I fear that many investors will be discouraged and leave the market, then the bear market will actually take place in the long term.

From my observations, altcoins are no longer affected by movements of bitcoin as before. So whatever happens I don't think btc dominance will exceed 73%. As you can see, bitcoin has reached the specified range and there is not much blood loss in the altcoins. I think that you don't need to be afraid of bitcoin movements as before.

The bear market will directly affect investor confidence in this market and this is something that everyone does not want because most of the coins available in this market experience a huge decline in the past few weeks. I think that if BTC cannot rise well in October, it will be very difficult for us to gain people confidence and that will make the bear market last longer. Hopefully by the end of this year things will be different and we will soon see BTC return to $10,000 again.

The price was below $8000 yesterday, thankfully it goes back to $8300+ again this morning. since it gains a little amount of price, I can also see the other coins are gaining some little amount too. if this is the start of the rising of the price again, I'm sure some other Altcoins are worth to buy at this time. By seeing those Top 10 Coins on the chart, you can say that the price is already recovering except for USDT cause that's a stable coin. but the other 9 are going all the way green as of today.

Quite some space to breath out from that bleeding market, it will be great to see more green to bring back investors interest bringing new investment inside the market. Though it's still a long way and there's a lot of market sways to expect best to learn from everything and grab your opportunities to earn decent in anyhow whatever market behaves. Continue being optimistic and add more investment when you see the market are bleeding, bounce like this if being anticipated adds profitable results.

That's right, BTC dominance is still too high, so for trading alts we always must check out BTC graphs before buying any alts Over the past 2-3 weeks, the price of altcoins has not fallen so much and I'm sure that we are now seeing the lowest prices this year. I choose Altcoins that are not in the TOP-20.

if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
There is no alternative for alt coins if BTC drop around 7K. We will see just blood everywhere ☹ By the way last 2 months we used to see red market both when BTC is up or down. Even when BTC is stable may days market was red. As seen from coin market cap, there is no new investment at crypto we can say. When there is no volume at overall coin market cap, price drops at BTC affect the alt coins more and more. We need a strong BTC with “high total volume” at coin market cap. Than price drops of BTC can be compensated by other factors and alt coins can recover quicker.
