Not sure, searched forums but didn't find anything all the way back to the original selling post. One thread was a WTS to auction, but I do not ever see an auction so the guy must have made a deal.
I do not know what the others are going for... What is a good starting number? 1k EA, 500? 250?

Umm, I am not sure why this is a question. The first 50 are silver.
I am not even going to debate, or prove anything, I do not need to sell JACK. I was doing this as a way to give back something I am not going to use or honor any longer because I exited UNO at a substantial gain a couple of years ago.

Now, any questions or statements regarding plated or silver please, take it somewhere else.

Anyone who wants these silver bars please let me know.

If no interest I am happy to keep them.

OP - don’t mind KY jelly. It’s no offense to you, I can assure you. It’s a fair question to bring it up, as not all are pure silver, but like you quite simply answered, first 50 bars are pure silver. No one is disputing any of this I can assure you. I’m sure you’ll sell this old school piece, it’s a must have for serious collectors imo.

I know this is an old thread - but I have number 12 and 13 in the bars but the holos that came with them do not match numbers - I would prefer that they did but they do not.

Is there any issue with that, does it affect the value of it as a collectible?

All those bars came with 2 holograms each of matching number with bar afaik
So, it's strange that the holos don't match. Did you buy direct from BTS or it was from secondary market?
What is the # on holo?

Definitely affects value to a certain point.

I bought them off ebay - but it ended up being someone from here Frankbitcoin

the holos I got are numbers 38 39 and 40

maybe he just sent me the wrong holos? I will reach out to Frankbitcoin - maybe he bought 12, 13 and 38-40


update, after speaking to Frankbitcoin:

The bars I have are numbered 012 and 013 though the holos are numbered 38, 39 and 40.

Unfortunately not, which I believe was mentioned in the auction details.  Those were the ones the creator of the bars sent me, he had told me at the time he didnt have the matching numbers for them but could send me different numbered holograms.  I'm sorry

So - I guess this leads back to Spaghetti then?

I remember owning one of the pure silver bars, which I purchased directly from bigtimespaghetti. If I remember correctly, the extra holo stickers did NOT match the bar's serial number. This was common on a few other collectibles at the time too. For example, the f*D coins. (Again... IIRC.)

Knowing this, I wouldn't expect the non-matching numbers to affect the sale price. However, if you ever decide to sell one of your silver bars and get low ball offers because of the non-matching stickers, then shoot me a PM. I may be willing to buy it at a "matching-number" price. I've always liked those little bars.

thanks Chris! I do have two bars and that makes me feel a little better about the mismatch holos - would you like to buy one?   I will trade it to you for a manhole cover lol j/k about the manhole cover - it is worth more than quite a few of these bars lol
