You could check sites like whattomine.com to check for the coin that is most profitable for your card.
Or you could look around like in telegram or maybe in the Altcoin Announcement section for new projects and then you can try to be one of the first miners.
But you always need to remember that probably 9 out of those 10 newly launched project will never make it to an exchange and your mined coins are worth 0 then.

Perhaps you can check this list if you want to mine using GPU. : https://www.cryptocurrencykb.com/crypto-mining/
ETH = I think this "masternode" phase still in "discussion". But there's defi project that you can farm using ETH.
LTC masternode? Well, i never heard about this.
Masternode sites :
1. https://masternodes.online/
2. https://www.coingecko.com/en?category_id=41&view=market (for masternode coins only)

Masternode sites :
1. https://masternodes.online/
This website is my first place to go if I want to check if what are the affordable and good masternodes that I can invest with. It has already arranged the best based on their standards as Dash is always on the first with the other good MNs.

The new altcoins are riskier than the old existing ones.

Not really coins to mine, but a new altcoin worth checking is NEM's (Top 21 CMC) upcoming new business coin. They give 1:1 for every XEM you hold.
