Certainly cryptocurrency is waxing strong and recognitions so I would say it is gaining mass adoption and lately China president spoke on bitcoin which means whole lot and brought kinda green lights till date in blockchain market. And aside China presit recommending bitcoin, so many countries had done that and some are saying positive things regarding blockchain. So I would say the growth of blockchain is fastly increasing and not decreasing. Some I stitutions also spoke about bitcoin and many are buying coins through partnerships with platforms. Alot of positive vibes in blockchain. You are right, all cannot happen instantly. the process is long and will certainly take a lot of time to see mass adoption grow well in the crypto market. we might want to always be improved, but the market will carry out its functions. and in a market, a decline and an increase will occur and is natural. this is a balance.

obviously! it has been growing for 10+ years starting from the day it was created and we still have a long way to go too.

There's been growing attention to bitcoin, but I'm not so sure adoption has been steadily increasing.  I still don't see a lot of physical stores that take it, and even online adoption for purchases has stagnated.  There have been a number of businesses that have even stopped taking it.  Things are much better when compared to 8 to 10 years ago, but adoption has leveled off in my opinion.

not at all. it has not even started adoption, let alone mass adoption because none of them have yet focused on utilities and usability so far.

You're right about that, except that alts make good trading tools but that's about it.  There are *very* few businesses that accept altcoins, and percentage wise you could probably round the number down to 0%.  And I doubt that's going to change in the near future.  It'll probably never change.

Altcoins have not gone mainstream, not yet. They are still too young and have a long way to go. Currently, all the digital currencies are serving the purpose of assets, which when invested in, return  good amounts of benefit. Even bitcoin is not being used as a currency. I think it is good for us. First we should make some profits and then enjoy commerce. In future, things will be different and as you said, adoption has already begun.

That question is funny, when you compare cryptocurrency with what it is now to what it was 10 years ago, it's like comparing motion pictures with what it is now to what it was 10 years ago. 10 years ago, Bitcoin was at it's earliest stage with just a basic infrastructure and a whitepaper with little to no username but presently, there are millions of users who hold this amazing digital currency. Worldwide adoption is a gradual process but more and more publicly recognised companies are getting into the space, that's progress.
