to kill as a whole, I don't think so. because pre-existing crypto markets such as bitcoin, etherum, doge and others, will not be affected by project scams because they have determined their own value. precisely the project scam will kill themselves and other new projects. because that's the project that depends on the altcoin market.

Scams has not entirely killed the faith in the Cryptocurrency space, it has done a lot of harm, no doubt about it but it but it has also taught us all a huge lesson, investors are now wary of where they invest and many of them now does extensive research before investing anywhere, scams are bound to happen but it's not really the end of the world because with every scam out there, there are genuine projects that are doing more to make up for them.

The huge number of scams is indeed affecting the interest of investors in new coins and it is very easy to see this is true because the bitcoin dominance is still very high despite the lack of growth that we have been experimenting during the last months, but I disagree with the solution you are proposing, regulations are not going to help at all because the ones that will try to regulate the market are not interested that this market flourish their only interest is to try to control it.

Personally, I don't really think the scam projects are the main thing killing the entire crypto space. FUDs are the main contributors killing the crypto space. False spread of unnecessary info about cryptocurrencies are the main reason behind why a lot of people either scared to join the crypto space or adopt to the use of cryptocurrencies for their transactions both online and offline.  Scam projects just affect the investment aspect of the crypto ecosystem in terms of investors investing in new projects to promote them. FUDs affect the usage of cryptocurrencies as a payment option and the rate at which people invest in already existing crypto coins...

Regulation can help us get rid of scammers. It is necessary that the registration of a new project was quite time-consuming, so that from the very beginning people consciously went to create a new project. Scam was really very much.

I agree that regulation will prevent many scams from happening. With the regulation, investor confidence in the cryptocurrency market can be recovered and the market will only trade coins or tokens that have legit projects.

for now the best method for investing in new coins is IEO because they offer the security and trust of an exchange to handle new projects, so I think that the problem of fraud for now has been resolved well if there are still investors who are deceived when making investments they certainly don't read about IEO because for now security can be trusted when investing in IEO in exchanges that have good ratings

There are FUDs in scam projects and they are really killing the entire cryptocurrency space because they are ruining the good image of the blockchain technology behind the cryptocurrencies. This is when the regulation comes as a good option because it will help the cryptocurrency to lessen the possible scam projects because they will be filtered by the government institutions.

Yes. why because some of coins created just to scam people look at the bitconnect coin we thought that coin is legit but as the investigators found out the coin is ponzi and eventually the site and price bitconnect drop heavily and in the end the team were ran away and never turn back and because of many ICO and ponzi coin scams people are now hesitating to invest on cryptocurrencies so, these are the reasons why i agree these scams are killing cryptcurrencies

I don't think scam projects are killing the crypto space because the die hard crypto enthusiasts are going for the already established projects, for them it's about the tech and not about the price, I think the scam and price just serves to chase those who just wants to make a quick buck.

If more and more new projects are scams, people will become traumatized and have a negative perception of the cryptocurrency market. Lots of funds has been lost to scam projects and not too good project roadmap projects. I agree with what you say that many scam projects are slowly killing other projects that want to develop their projects and make their projects run until they are successful. The number of scam projects has made investors hesitant to invest in new projects that require investors to develop the projects they bring. So I think something is needed that can make the interest of investors to invest in new projects re-emerge.

The scam project does not kill the altcoins it just shows that people are still weak to know what the scam is and is not. But this has been done in recent years and so today people (investors) know what to do with the scam icos today that are still taking good luck today. Yes that is true but this kind of news is kind of expired by now.

Those scammers have done it a year ago and they had been successful.
Now, there is not much people who really want to risk a lot to new projects and it is hurting them. But the old ones are still on going. Bitcoin is one example of it.

I agree most of the ICO especially today are all scams and a lot of legit ICO's cannot attract investors anymore.

Yes i absolutely agree to you, altcoin is dying right now and i think that's because of scammers, because investors are tired in investing and get scammed, to all scammers out thier please fight fair, i still hoping that investors comeback again, and trust ICO/IEO again.

It will be difficult to return if investors continue to experience losses from what they have done. Everyone starts to dislike it and if next year it will continue, Bad things will come for the crypto world. I am very sure of that.
