Some people say bitcoin is better than US dollar but i think US dollar wins in terms of acceptance because not all people know what bitcoin is and bitcoin price is volatile and bitcoin don't have physical form you cannot touch it like dollars

Investment wise, yes Bitcoin still prefer by most people here to put their investment at as the risk is high, but the reward can be multiplied to twice or even more depending on the market condition, wherein if you are just investing in dollar, it could just give you 1-3%  interest, depends on the market. So, for some people instead of buying and selling dollar they are just buying and selling Bitcoin, which is more profitable.

Still, bitcoin isn't in competition with the dollar or any other fiat currency.  Not yet anyway.  That's why gov'ts haven't tried to impose so many regulations on bitcoin that it would be impossible to use legally.  Not yet, but the Libra thing is really ominous to me.  The gov't is definitely turning its attention to cryptocurrency as at least somewhat of a threat.

Bitcoin is by far better currency than US dollars.
Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer currency that is fully decentralized and controlled by no one.
While US dollar is fully centralized which is issued and controlled by the United States Government.
Finally, Bitcoin is not subject to market/price inflation and the US dollar is subject to market/price inflation.

What you need to understand is that manipulation exist in every aspect of the world financial ecosystem. With bitcoin, people considered as the whales somehow controls and influence the market value of bitcoin. In as much that the government manipulate fiat money does not also mean bitcoin is not manipulated. Personally, i don't think Bitcoin is better than US dollar but rather the system that bitcoin uses is better than US dollar system. The decentralized nature of the bitcoin network is better than the centralised system of the US dollar but i terms of value, US dollar is better than Bitcoin....

actually we cant compare between fiat with crypto. many poeple use crypto as digital asset, so i think its better if you hold crypto for yourself, sell when the price is bigger, than you buy something using bitcoin (except in that country have local crypto that have stable price)

there is no doubt that bitcoin is and ha always been better than US dollar , fiat money , especially US dollar
have always been manipulated and never had a concrete value ( bar the times of the golden standards )

Absolutely better using bitcoin than US dollar coin because bitcoin never have inflation value and increase on higher price, but for US dollar can take inflation with lower price and less profit earn with investing in US dollar currency, although US dollar using by many countries I think bitcoin keep best investment assets for the future.

Better or not it depends on what aim you would like to achieve. in case you want to make investments for long-term period, to my mind it would be better Bitcoin to choose. But if you want to invest in something another and use in your everyday life, the USD is better choice, because Bitcoin is still expensive in transactions and fees for most people... but about manipulation - I am afraid that all fiat money is under control of government, and in some way Bitcoin is manipulated also... by whales and other influencers of the crypto world...

For now, i think comparison should not be on which is highly accepted but on which has more value. When you want to compare them based on adoption, the US currency will always come out as a winner because it has been around for many years unlike Bitcoin which only emerged 10 years ago. Also, base on this simple comparison, I think they are equivalent though, just like every fiat to bitcoin. Each is serving their unique purpose.

There's nothing wrong if the people don't see that the gov't manipulates paper money. What do you expect? all of us grew with that process in our lives. The gov't is the one that fully controls in everything regarding the financial state of the country.

Bitcoin is there as an alternative currency and with other purposes that we can use as an investment. It is scarce and volatile which we can relied on if we will treat it as an investment. Comparison of bitcoin to USD, we're not yet there.
