I would surely desire to see that, I can not speak for other members though. Highlighting the exploits of good, low ranked posters seems like a good way to encourage them. |

This is really interesting to see, especially because I sometimes have spare smerit to send out, but can't find a good post immediately. This way, I can just go through these individuals post history and send merit to any good post of them. Bookmarking this topic  On a side-note, but still relevant: It would be kinda interesting to do this for all ranks, except Legendary, just because something has been bugging me these past couple of weeks. Bitcointalk user Buwaytress has been on Hero rank for so long and I'd really like them to finally rank up to Legendary. I know they don't bring in the huge merit amounts, but they've been consistently contributing to Bitcointalk IMO. They're just 34 merit away from ranking up to Legendary and I think it's time that that happened  |

Yeah, maybe not too suited to post it in this thread, or on Bitcointalk in general. Decide for yourself, perhaps you could adjust the query so the results are smaller in those cases? It's nice to see myself ranked 3rd among Jr Member merit earners, i must say that i'm pleasantly surprised. I read a lot of qq about merit system and that is impossible to rank nowadays, but this list shows it otherwise.
This kind of list is incentive for others that it is possible to earn decent amount of merits even if you are lower rank.

I read a lot of qq about merit system and that is impossible to rank nowadays, but this list shows it otherwise.
It became more difficult to rank up after the dust from the merit system implementation died down. But, it's not impossible, you've earned almost half the merit requirement for full member rank, before getting the required activity for member rank (you would in the next activity window). At this pace, you'd be climbing higher ranks very quickly. P.S; good work in the scam accusation section. |

Hey guys! eternalgloom and LoyceV, among the familiar faces in this "ecosystem", to borrow a term I see almost daily;)
To prevent gushing over this elevated status, I shall simply say thanks a lot for the really unexpected bump =) It feels very nice to be posting as a Legendary for the first time, and in a rare foray into Other!
If I recall well, I turned Hero (480 activity) practically the 14-day period before Merit was implemented, so I was quite lucky in that sense to get that immediate starting 500 in Merit.
In the spirit of the bunch of sudden merit given to me, I will be distributing my newfound smerit wealth to deserving Newbies.

Yes you can make it Personally, I was still a newbie when the Merit system was implemented and i wasn't a regular poster until towards the end of 2018 and some parts of this year but i still managed to gather 307 Merits. I believe if I had been a much more regular poster, The activity and Merits would be enough for me to be a hero member by now. What i realized is that so long as you are a regular quality poster, who is willing to learn and help others here, merit will always come your way. |

I believe if I had been a much more regular poster, The activity and Merits would be enough for me to be a hero member by now. What i realized is that so long as you are a regular quality poster, who is willing to learn and help others here, merit will always come your way. As you can see, I registered back in 2017 and I remember to be a Jr.Member when the merit system was introduced. And then back to a newbie because of 1 merit requirement. Back then, I only stuck to my local board (India) and bounty threads. I didn't bother to explore the other important sections just because I don't know the technical stuff. With all the shit I was doing in this forum, at a point, I completely ignored this forum and went to another forum (altcoinstalk something like that) in the hopes of earning more shitcoins I wasted 2 years going after faucets, airdrops and shitty bounties (except MB8). That's when I realised that I have been doing shit and came back to the forum with the announcement of Libra and explored most of the forum. I searched for Libra related posts in the forum but didn't find a proper ANN Thread, so I read the Whitepaper and other articles and made a consolidated post as Libra – The Good, The Bad & The Ugly and got my first merit from eternalgloom and became a Jr.Member. LoyceV made me a Member by meriting a post regarding Vanitygen and I look forward to becoming a Full Member. These are some of the unforgettable moments. I also tried to get a review of my posts here to improve my posting quality but didn't get any reply. Maybe someone could review it and give feedback. The thing is when I get merits, I get a feeling that I am being recognised by the community. So yeah I feel highly privileged that my name is mentioned in the OP. Now browsing through bitcointalk has become my regular for 3-4 hrs daily, while I'm travelling to my work and back to home. I now explore almost all boards of the forum. Involved in active discussions. Joined my 1st signature campaign.
