What type of disappointment you are talking about? you can't  put the blame of Ethereum for failing to surge in value when bitcoin dominance keeps climbing up and aiming higher, Eth is doing fine for those who knows what's in stock for Eth blockchain, altcoin season is not here yet and ETH is showing good sign already, Eth is a must buy and hold for all altcoin lovers

I think the process of recovering the Ethereum price is on. According to coinmarketcap, ETH price has increased by 1.11% today. The current price is, 211$ but if you remember some weeks ago ETH was below $200. So, I still do believe in Ethereum and hoping it might cross $300 within this year. I tend to agree. Ethereum has to be one of the most frustrating coins to day trade this year. It rises very slowly and falls very quickly. To make it worse, it drags other altcoins (on its blockchain) down along with it. Now we are experiencing an annoying increase in gwei. But better days are ahead. Let us be hopeful for new updates from the dev that will drive the price higher up.

Reminds me of a tweet from Vitalik where he said that the network has little space enough to take more cryptocurrency projects on its blockchain. Disappointing is an understatement, for me the new Ethereum 2.0 must be got right, if the platform fail to scale then bye -bye and this will be then end of the road for the platform. To me we need a truly decentralize platform in the space that can indeed give bitcoin a ride for it money, competition is health for the space but most of these projects can't compete

In my opinion this is one of the easiest thing to understand, this is about greed, if you look at the fundamentals of ethereum you will see a good coin that is still being actively developed, it has a decent volume and even if it's price it's kind of low this only means that this is a good opportunity to buy ethereum for a low price and hold it until its price begins to recover, but people do not want to do that they want to obtain fast profits without any effort and we know that is impossible.

Recently ETH has been doing great, from around 170$ to above 200$ is a cool step forward. Holders who didn't panic sell will be smiling right now and the ETH 2.0 news might still push it further. It's true that holders of ETH have been waiting for long without reasonable uptrend. Some argue that ETH won't do well again because the ICO era is over since ETH was mainly used in purchasing ICO boosting its price. I do believe ETH will be very beneficial to hold for long term seeing the project development on ground.

Sure that is still valuable since most of the coins by now are all full of dump.
My portlfolio is full of dusty coins which have been sitting there for a long time. Unlike Ethereum most of the coins now went to zero value or bankrupt.

A little bounce has already happened with ethereum and what's wrong with it? as far as i can see about the fact that this bounce will bring ethereum to another bullish trend. Bitcoin's dominance should be the main factor why ethereum gives this reaction.

Ether this year of course, has not been a good coin to hold and hope for better returns. I only held some ether for the long term unlike coins like BTC and XRP that I am holding for the short term profit sake. This comment is not new. And most of the time, if not always, this kind of comment comes from people who are also new to the crypto world themselves. If you want to stay long in this world, you will have to develop your patience. Waiting for your coin to fly is not a short wait. It may even take years.
