To think that there is no politician that has never spilled a human’s body is devastating. Yes, they have all secrets and tricks up their sleeves when it is time to fight against their Opponents. But I don’t think that all of them has been involved in some dirty or illegal ways of doing things.

I guess I am just trying to stay positive but with the amount of corrupt officials in my country, it’s pretty hard. Even if there was one person who did not have corruption in their own body, it’s hard to completely dismiss the corruption among the government.

Let me speak like a political theorist; politics in the real sense of it is not in the way Op has expressed it to be, it's actually a process of making peace exist within the society, the even distribution of resources and values to society as David Easton posit it. Unfortunately, the so-called politicians are doing the opposite and this is because almost all society's today many people that go into politics for political positions in government do so in their self interest, to pursue and accumulate personal wealth and they do all manner of atrocities and illegalities to sustain their position and ambition. Well, there's the belief that most politicians have their self interest. I think even in the greatest country like Japan, where they have honor for themselves and you'd see politicians campaigning and asking for people personally in the train stations and having their banner sign with them. You'd not see those politicians that will go head to head with people discussing matters but they'll just sit on their chairs and offices comfortably as if they'll be the one to be served and not them to serve people. Politics sucks, if there's a need for it to get removed, I want it to be gone in most countries. But what matters is that there should be a leader for each country to maintain peace and order.

And with that, many countries don't have the great leadership that they need to have despite many of these countries are pure and rich in natural resources and can live peacefully but because of corrupt practices of these politicians, they'll never get the peace that the citizens deserve. This is a cycle that will have no end for those countries that are struggling in terms of politics and it's gonna be dirty always and no solution unless some ruler that will open the eyes of the most and will demand the greatest service from the politicians but this is like a utopia place.

Not everything needs service, sometimes people fall for money too and that's why most of the politicians play with their money like an investment to make more money when they become elected but it also depends on the country we are talking about. The leaders play important role which I completely agree but what is the basic principle of the ruling party decides how they are going to be than an individual.

OP, I don't think that it true that every well known politician has spill blood, I don't believe that narrative, though politicians are know to be corrupt people everywhere in the world it I still want you to know that most of them has not spill blood as perceived by you, do you know that the problem most countries are having today with the political class in godfatherism this has eaten deep mainly in Africa, when a so called godfather is been given a position, he directly reach agreement with his godson and transfers such position to him, note those agreements will not just be mere words, they will be backed up with fetish oaths that tends to go against any of both parties that doesn't keep to their own agreement, so you see it may not be as you think it might be the other way round.

Politic is game of interest and the interest in politics surpass every other aspect of the game as you said and we know that already but you should also know that something done by most politicians in power is because of what their godfather want not what they want, so this thing is some difficult most time to comprehend.

It's said that bad company corrupts good manners, and power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely, so I want to believe that many politicians enters the political space with good intentions to work and serve their citizens, but the pressure to conform with the doings of other politicians will make them to seek their personal gains in office rather than serving the people. If a politician doesn't act like the majority of politians, they'll do everything by all means to frustrate the good politician, when the pressure is much, the politician will either stand alone or quit.

The corrupt ones will want all of them to be birds of same feathers, so nobody will expose their loots, and who doesn't want to be corrupt will be threatened, blackmailed and intimidated, except he/she joins them, at the detriment of the citizens that supposedly voted them into power. A country will experience prosperity if there are more credible leaders than corrupt ones.

Op your correct at some point because spilling of blood is not necessary you killed it can be indirect many politician use all means ,such as physical power , diabolical means and use if thuzz, kidnapping all of these is a staining of hand not just blood alone in our present politics in our society no politicians is innocent before you even arrived some level in the politics you must be cooked in selling if your conscience.

The idea or concept all or most influential politicians have spilt innocent blood comes from the point of view all politicians are part of the system which allows ears and conflicts to continue going, it is a typical point of view from those who do not wish to think of politicians as individual humans beings, but as part of the gearbox of war.
It is very similar to people who blame all tax paying Americans for what is going on in the middle east and the destruction of the Gaza Strip, they disregard there are Taxpayers who also actively protest against what is going on in Gaza.

Politics as a profession is a mine field and a dirty game for the sake to climbing up to the top of the leadership of a country (the presidency), but I think it is unfair to put slightly debious politicians in the same bag with literal warmongers...
