Absolutely. Impeachment is very constitutional. The point is whether or not the reasons for impeachment are legal and lawful, or even moral and ethical. That's what we have the Supreme Court for. But the pleadings to the SC need to be sufficient to answer the question.

Since Trump isn't entirely in a mode for upsetting the little Democrat folks, he is careful in how he answers them and the Dem leaders. Notice that nobody is taking it to the Supreme Court yet. So, it's all a bunch of political talk so far.

Trump is getting what he wants... a gradual, peaceful, draining of the Swamp. And Dem leaders are helping him through their impeachment process. If they hadn't impeached him, Trump would have seen to it that the Swamp would have been drained, but in other ways. As it is, with the Dem leaders help, this is the way that is more efficient for him to do it.

The Dems knew what was coming way back before the election of 2016, if they lost that election. Same as with the fiat money Ponzi, if they can make their Swamp position last a little longer, they just might be able to figure a way out of their doom. But if they don't figure a way out, their doom will be more painful for them the longer they can extend it.

The poor, Democrats of the country - average little people simply living their lives - often don't realized this. If they saw it clearly, many more of them would switch to Republican. The more that switch, the easier it will be for Trump and the Dem leaders (unwillingly) to drain the Swamp.

As it is, the radical, small Dems around the country are arming themselves this way and that, for a Civil War.
