We have the newbies and brand new, also those who have Copper Membership, at the moment but I suggest to add the Jr. Members as well.

If you can't earn 10 merit you posts should also be reviewed.

Profiles like those should be in the list:

I would love to have more customization options for Patrol in general. I use it not just for reporting, but also for finding good posts by lower ranked members to merit.

You can already customize recent and patrol with "nobounty", or with board numbers as I discussed here. What would be great would also being able to choose which ranks you see, and to be able to combine this rank selection along with a board selection. This would be useful for both reporting and meriting.

Why are you thinking to add them patrol? Just for make bounty report? If so then 95% Jr. Member post will be visible on patrol and 95% post will be bounty report. Will you report to moderators about bounty report ? I think it would be unrealistic. Rather than add them patrol batter to prevent them from submit bounty report on the post. Force manager to ask submit report through Google form. Bury become a part of this forum you can't stop them totally otherwise forum would dry.

Same think, I have been doing that occasionally.

That will be cool too, I was wondering how to filter posts based on rank before. My point is that with the new Jr. members rules, they fall under almost the same category as newbies. Good posters easily escape this low level rank.
Those posters I added are just the Jr. Members arranged by top number of posts. you see the quality yourself.
Of course those are just bounty hungers but there are others who also fall under the same category and post only one liners. I have reported already quite a few.

Now I started focusing on bounty reports with quote pyramids which are against the rules as well.

Patrol "recent posts by newbies": I don't think adding more ranks will make a difference, as the effort to develop a Jr.account makes it difficult to sacrifice him for a clear spam.
If we want to put some filters, these filters must be for merits, not ranks, as "legendary member" is considered "newbie" if he did not earn one Merit throughout the last period.

Force manager to ask submit report through Google form. Bury become a part of this forum you can't stop them totally otherwise forum would dry.

Usage of Google forms for submitting reports will solve a lot of issues both for the Manager as well as the users and at the same time the forum will get lot more cleaner specially the altcoins section. Manager do not have to count each and every report in the crowded space when everything is automated in google forms.

The problem with that is (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) is that there are a lot more jr. members that are somewhat active.
Hell, I met up with someone locally to do a HW deal that had 75+ posts but 0 merit because he was posting mainly in the hardware buy & sell board with some posts in mining support.

Nothing wrong, just no reason to give him any merits. [I actually gave him his 1st one because unlike some other HW traders he paid 1st and then showed up when and where he was supposed to when picking up the miner. Shocking I know.]

But that would still be a lot more posts to look at.

I'm sure LoyceV can probably dump a nice list about Jr's and the # of posts....

Maybe, having users who have had over x amount of good reports against them show up there instead of specifically newbies/Jr members. Patrol is a very useful too, and increasingly so since the addition of merit requirements for jr member, but I'd like to see some of the users show up that have had deleted replies. The only issue I see with that is users might not want to be "audited" publicly like that, and the way around that would be only staff having access to that particular feature.

I suggest to add the Jr. Members as well.
I can make this for you on for instance BCTpatrol.tk if you want.

It will be like WallObserver.tk, which took me 80 minutes to make. It won't show posts for the past 24 hours or even 7 days, that's rediculous considering the number of posts, but if you're interested, just let me know what would work for you.

The problem with that is (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) is that there are a lot more jr. members that are somewhat active.
I made something for that too:
Active users and top posters on Bitcointalk.org in the past 7 days:
Administrator: 6 posts (2 users)
Global Moderator: 4 posts (2 users)
Staff: 256 posts (16 users)
VIP: 0 posts (0 users)
Donator: 14 posts (6 users)
Legendary: 8386 posts (506 users)
Hero Member: 10165 posts (509 users)
Sr. Member: 16125 posts (841 users)
Full Member: 6184 posts (735 users)
Member: 5352 posts (766 users)
Jr. Member: 4261 posts (781 users)
Newbie: 17486 posts (3766 users)

Brand new: 3527 posts (1212 users)
Copper Member: 2432 posts (396 users)
Total: 74198 posts (9538 users)

This is a good idea, although I feel it would be more difficult to implement than the rank distinction. Lower ranked members are not generally spammers, I would say there are as many low quality posters holding higher ranks so targeting users who regularly get their posts deleted seems more specific to the problem.
