Your question is not that clear. In trading there is always opportunities and it doesn't matter if the market is in uptrend or downtrend, as Bruce Lee said in his famous quote " be water my friend ". If you are holding a token then you're already in a long position and you must take profit before the pullback. Your question I think is when to sell off your token, the answer is when the price hit the resistance line.

always remember about the best time to trade when our token get a huge increase and then buyback when it goes down again.
Yes, buying low and selling when it's higher. The truth remains that no one actually knows the right time, except on hindsight. Otherwise we all be naysayers and demigods and filthily rich too. Then all anxiety associated with the uncertainty of the market will be all gone. Nah! That will be boring trading the market if we know all that before hand. |

I think when you give up is a right time. I had a ton of some coins and recently I started to feel like they are not going anywhere, they have been around the same price for so long and it made sense to wait so that I can sell when it eventually goes up but after a while I realized it is not moving and it is not going to move anytime soon.
There are other good currencies as well so I am just gonna sell them all slowly without disturbing the market and then use that money to buy something else and hope that I will make money. It is not end of the world if you sell and then token goes up, stuff like that happens but if it made you wait so long then you do have a chance to just sell your tokens and move on with it and preferably never look back, just pick another currency we all know, like the big ones.

after reaching ATH? maybe when your current position really takes a long time if you want to see ATH reached again. I myself trade every day, and sometimes choose different assets for me to trade. when I have had enough I will stop trading. I will not be greedy separately get more money, because it could have taken money from me. therefore every day is the right time to sell the assets that I have. i am not really know how to read chart or understand what people's analyze into crypto price. But i will only answer from title, my right time to sell my tokens is when it is reach ICO price or when i really need money. Sometime i trade without analysis, profit or lose usually i take it. So i am not really think about tokens that below ICO price because it is already happened for many times.

I think the right time for trading is when first time coin or token listing on exchange market, you have chance to get profit because for first time coin listing will have good price for selling or buying.
Not all the time, some tokens are gaining more price once listed and If the team listed the tokens in an average exchange and announce another exchange which is bigger. Some tokens are being dumped after listed, you should not go on speculations, you should watch your token and its team development on the project. |

The right timing for me is when the price is profitable I'm always don't get greedy when it comes in trading as along as I see that my coins increasing a profit I always trade it immediately because it sure that I have income then the profit I earned I will set another trade for next cycle.

If you indicate about bounty tokens, the best moment to sell is direct after it got listed on the exchange because the bounty tokens have pretty good hype when first traded.

not as good as before friends. because now most of the distribution of bounty tokens is done gradually or away from after being registered on the exchange. so bounty hunters will only enjoy low prices and will have to wait for prices to rise again if the project is really good. |

There is no "right time to trade". All those articles out there spurs those random stuffs and most of them makes no sense. The market is evolving every moment. You never know what is going to happen. There are people out there that gives some random prediction based totally on random bullshits. The market price can never be predicted. It all depends on the supply and the demand. This is not a normal grocer market where there some specific time for things that will have high demand. There are no such thing as a "season" on this market. Thus you will never know when is the right time to trade your tokens.

For me, the best time to trade my tokens would be when I am in profit, if my tokens do 20% - 30% then I will trade and take profit then watch for retracement and buy some more by so doing I would be able to earn more.

When the price is high that's when to sell, I've learned another lessons the hard way currently when bitcoin crashed to $8k , the altcoins I'm holding which was in profit is no more in huge profit as it were before, greediness And sometimes holding does not pay for good, it's better to sell and move on

But dont trade them away and make it fiat just like that, the season now is good for day trading as long as you know the flow of the market.

Trust me from my personal experience I think the best time to trade your tokens was either 1.5 years back and the second correct time is now. I was a bounty hunter earlier and earned a lot of coins be it tokens or coins but I never decided to sell them because I thought the market is still bullish and in long term they would prosper but unfortunately I was wrong. I have seen all my tokens and coins being ripped apart by the market. The times when they were 30x of the current prices. The time when they were too heavily traded. Now most of the tokens are nothing but useless piece of code. So it's better you get rid of them ASAP and team working for the coin is absolute hoax. No company which was floated using crypto is doing anything. |
