will be a hell of a job to get everything done since the odds are changing constantly with the value in it. but that is life for to take challenges and the sky is the limit hope it is a success i want to try to laying some correct scores
it certainly is a hell of a job. But if they can create something that can compete with the fiat betting exchanges like betfair, matchbook or Smarkets and be able to keep their commission at 1% then I am sure a lot of regular fiat sports traders will have a go at this Hey again! Yes, "hell of a job" covers it Building liquidity is the key challenge, but that in turn depends on improving the product - stability, speed, features, sports supported. As you can see from our answers to your questions, there is a lot on our list, and we won't be matching the breadth of offering of the exchanges you mention on day one. But we will launch with a strong core product, and a good understanding of both the crypto and betting exchange spaces. We hope you will try Exbet out, and keep asking the tough questions

And a decent crypto based sports exchange is just the thing I was waiting for

OK people, Exbet Soft Launch is officially over! It's been a superb few days, with many many testers and 1000s of bets placed. Some testers have done very well with their betting and have some extra funds sitting in their account now Had fun participating in your soft launch exbet. Found the site to be way more accessible when compared to Fairlay due to the pleasant design and the liquidity already seems better than 1xbet exchange which is pretty bad in this aspect. Excited to access my account after the full launch. Advice: Take your time refining the site and launch only when there are minimal bugs.

I will also try to make some deposit and bets when this site is online. We all want a decent betting exchange. Let us hope the site is stable and van handle the traffic. How were the results from the soft launch?

Some of the main Soft Launch feedback points:
1. Need better in-play liquidity
This is a fair point. In-play is a huge part of sports betting and especially exchange trading. In-play liquidity is not something that Exbet has direct control over, of course. But we are constantly listening to market maker feedback and we are conifdent that in-play liquidity is something that will build in the first weeks and months after launch.
2. Soccer in-play markets hsould be managed**
This is also a fair point. Currently Exbet's in-play Soccer markets are all unmanaged (i.e. not stopped in case of goal, sending off, penalty awarded). We agree with the feedback that this is important for the bettor experience, and hope to roll this out to selected Tier 1 Soccer leagues some time before Xmas.
3. Need more markets
Exbet Soft Launch offered between 2 and 9 markets per Event. We understand that this seems a low number however it is important to focus liquidity in a smaller number of markets, and then build out number of markets after that. But we have taken on board some advice on specific markets that we should add.
4. Connection bug
A couple of testers reported a bug where connection with the Exbet server is momentarily lost which results in a user's bets not being updated in betslip as quickly as we would like. We have been aware of this bug for some weeks and believe that we have fixed it now, pending final testing. It was great to get confirmation of this bug from independent testers and really drive home the benefits of this soft launch.
Apart from the above major points, we had a lot of useful comments about: - design improvements - UX improvements - typo corrections - minor display bugs and browser compatibility issues - Help and FAQ improvements

And it's always nice to hear good feedback, so here is some positive feedback:
"home page total loading time < 4sec, good"
"The site is super fast when navigating, which is very nice"
"From what I've played so far I didn't experience any bugs."
"Simply looking at first it really is a simple platform, but the thing I really like, is that the platform is really easy-to-use. I can place bets without any hassle... I can easy tell and find what should I do with my money."
"decent chunks on the orderbook, if that stays i will be playing when you launch for real. tidy website"
"I have tested a bit more over the weekend and didn't run into any issues. But couldn't do a lot of inplay trading, since there was no volume. I did trade against myself for testing purposes and everything worked well"
"really nice clean ui, it felt like fresh air compared to sportsbook"
"I have never used a betting exchange before but found it easy to get used to, placed some back and lay bets and even traded the pre match price move on Manchester united! Good luck"
"I placed a back bet yesterday on the EPL and everything worked fine on my end."
"Felt solid and ticks all boxes for a basic betting exchange. Roll on hard launch!"

Excellent advice. We intend to iron out some issues raised in soft launch and not rush to hard launch for the sake of it.

It seems that you got pretty good feedback during your soft launch. But what do you think will be the major problem for other players that they may encounter in your site? And how are you going to address them?

But what do you think will be the major problem for other players that they may encounter in your site? The main "problem" will be liquidity. On a technical level everything worked fine during soft launch and I don't see any big issues arising there. But liquidity is ultra important, because only with liquidity you will attract more people, which then turns into exponential growth. Pre-match liquidity isn't even that important, but exchanges live and die with inplay liquidity - trading sports events is the bread and butter for them. You saw and still see other fiat exchanges struggling with this and with a crypto-only betting exchange this is even more of a challenge. And all this with the biggest exchange not being accessible for loads of people, where you would think that other exchanges get/got a good market share, but this is not really the case. You can compare it with Poker, where we have SwC Poker present in this forum, who have a super cool software, which is working fine; no KYC. They even sponsor a private Poker Series in here, but they struggle with getting players as well, because everyone is playing at PokerStars where there are loads of tables, tournaments, Sit'n Go's 24/7. So there is no reason to leave (you have already been KYC'ed). Sorry for hijacking this thread with SwC things @exbet.io, but I think your situation/challenge is comparable. And how are you going to address them? Market-makers, low commission (1% is super cool), good support, community building, maybe some promos, social media, marketing. And then pray and have patience

And then pray and have patience I don't think liquidity will be a problem. Our market makers on the Degens Betting Exchange also are market makers on Fairlay, Betfair etc. The only issue is if exbet requires KYC, that will deter quite a few market makers which are American based as I presume they will not be allowed to use the site.

I just hope that you will be active in this journey of yours in the gambling scene. Because a lot of game sites are only active during their early days, but when they become a lil bit established, it is hard to reach them. Since this is not the usual sportsbook that a gambler will encounter everyday, I just wish you best of luck in gaining players during your actual launch.
