Lots of people are now wise up and aware about such scams,  any investments schemes that promise to double  your investment within a short period of time is mostly to be a scam,  they were rampant around 2017-18 when lots of people are not aware about such scams,  currently,  only the greedy ones that will fall for such scams

I am sure people can search for more news to find scams or to know if that is a scam or not. But yes, people already get many experiences related to the fraud itself, and that makes them careful to choose the investment from the projects. They will invest in the project after they can get so much information related to the project, so they don't get another scam. Besides that, they have a good lesson on how to avoid the scam, and they will tell their experience to other people too.

That is some of the problems some people are facing,  they are lazy in doing thorough research about what they wanna, no matter the experience a greedy fellow had experience he will still want to invest in a ponzi scheme thinking that he's gonna hit it big

Moreso there are some projects that looks good to be true, they will have good website,  team,  and at the end of the day they end up being a scam project,

This is very similar to the website (I just forgot the name) that I have tried before. Its like a survey program and they will give you certain task to receive some dollars paid via paypal account or you could choose Bitcoin as a payment. But, of course there's a certain minimum limit for withdrawal, and what surprised me is that, they ask for a deposit before you can proceed to withdraw your earned money/btc from finishing the tasks.
These kind of scam wont really work for me, I wont gonna fall for this tricks.  Technically, why would a website ask you to deposit when you're about to withdraw, I see no relevance for such actions. And another thing is, giveaways doesnt ask something from you because basically its a "giveaway".

Hi, recently I went to a website https://www.crypto-way .ltd (I add a space in ltd so that you won't click on this accidentally.  It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in.   I find it too suspicious and did a check on the domain name.  It was only registered a few days ago.   The British company they are suppose to be does not exist and they are hosting in a russian hosting company, making it impossible for me to contact them to feedback to them.  If anyone can speak Russian and do the feedback, that would be great as it keeps another scum away from our Bitcoin environment.

You are good at doing an investigation and you have done the right thing, but even if the domain is a year or five years old and they offer two times profit from your investment, don't go for it, it just feed your greed, there is no such thing as two times profit you know that even a bank cannot offer you that kind of profit, even a government cannot do that, they are just scamming you with empty promises.

I never try joined any giveaways asking KYC and other information that can expose our identity on cyber world since most provably they will use it for there own benefits and the one I joined is those airdrop which gives me a decent profit without doing nothing but make sure you provide only the wallet address and didn't send anything since if they ask any payments then they are 100% scam.

That's two different incidents from this two sides of bounties. You can research and check teams who are working behind and see it by yourself if they are serious and they can proceed and succeed. too much promises most of the time will only turned into failed outcome.

With sending personal information after the bounty or giveaways who ask for KYC is also not a good sign so make sure to protect your data.

This kind of offer should be over for now or not existing anymore, because in the Crypto world we should all be educated on what kind of investment program are we going to invest, if they tell you that you will get two times profit without explanation how they are going to do that, it's easy to tell that it's a Ponzi scheme and they just want to get your money and sweet talk you to giver in.

It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in.

I can't believe that people fall in those scams. Have you ever seen in real life someone tell you "Transfer me some money in my bank account. I will transfer you back 2x."

Why would someone do this?
People are insane with bitcoin...

Bitcoin is not a tool to make people get rich quick. It is just a currency. It works as a currency.

Really bits my imagination,  except you are a really newbie in crypto and have zero idea about this shady sites I don't think anyone who has been around in crypto for let's say 2017 -2018 will still fall for this bull crap, honestly,  people need to be mindful of the kind of site they visit and stop believing in all this bring this amount and get double of it kinda stuff,
This suppose to send a red flag immediately you hear things like that, am too old in crypto to  pay attention to such obvious cheap scam.

No need a long time to see he will lose all the money he has because once we invest in a Ponzi scheme, it's only a matter of time our money will disappear. The good website and teams don't guarantee it will succeed in a long time because that will depends on how good they work for their projects. And if that is related to Ponzi, then we will see how long they can online and take the people's money.

I have seen that before, and I also have a bad experience with Ponzi. But then, I realize that I need to stop and search for real things that can help me to make money.

in terms of the website alone is suspicious. Be careful with investments like that, if you have funds to invest, I recommend investing in a trusted project, such as IEO.

You should be more careful with the project. Try to understand first, where the funds go and for what. maybe it's a ponzi scheme, it usually still pays if it's in small amounts, but if you try to withdraw large amounts it won't work.

my friend fell victim to the ponzi scheme -_-

Hi, recently I went to a website https://www.crypto-way .ltd (I add a space in ltd so that you won't click on this accidentally.  It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in.   I find it too suspicious and did a check on the domain name.  It was only registered a few days ago.   The British company they are suppose to be does not exist and they are hosting in a russian hosting company, making it impossible for me to contact them to feedback to them.  If anyone can speak Russian and do the feedback, that would be great as it keeps another scum away from our Bitcoin environment.

You do not have to ask if the site is legit, a site that just launches recently and offering 2 times of the money you sent in, is a clear sign that the site is a scam one, not even a stable company online and offline or even Facebook can give you a guaranty profit of two times the amount you send, people are wise now after Bitconnect, better open a scam report in scam section.

Not only on Bitconnect situation but in all ponzis and scams back in the past where offering too good to be true returns on a short period of time.No investment online will give out that returns so with that thing alone we can already conclude that these kind of sites are fraud.Better to invest those money on buying solely with Bitcoin and other top alts which is more worthy than considering on sites that do offer good returns.Dont make such step that would end up for you to regret.
