Doing some quick maths, assuming 80 members with an average of 0.00015BTC/post and on average 7 posts per day, 7*7*4*80*0.00015 = about 2.5 BTC/ month
Thus, 10 BTC/month might be the budget but they surely won't have to spend that much. 10 BTC should last for about 3-4 months if the campaign runs smoothly with the present terms, which is decent taking in consideration that Yobit must be making at least 5 folds that money
If I recall correctly, the campaign participant was more than 300 earlier which is now above 500. And for your info, a lot of people trying to get the maximum which is 0.0024 per day minimum.

I was fairly shocked to read what yahoo wrote about their budget - 10 whole BTC for the first month? I knew they were putting a lot of money into this but $75-80k a month is an insane budget, not to mention the fact that they've overrun that...I wonder where they're pulling these funds from because I didn't think Yobit was making that kind of money.
Like as you said, this does seem to be a very bad way of marketing a product. They could handover the complete control of this campaign to yahoo or DarkStar and have a similar payrate like what Chipmixer does. Chipmixer pays 0.00075/post and there are around 60 posters being hired by the campaign. The budget allocated by Chipmixer is around 2.25 BTC per week which totals up-to a sum of 9 BTC per month if all the 60 of them post 50 posts per week which might never happen. By this way, I am sure this campaign can create another Chipmixer kinda participation from each and every one of the posters who are being hired by the campaign. I am very much sure these 60 posters who would be hired to promote cryptotalk would be no way lesser to Chipmixer posters in terms of quality as every other low level shitposters would never be accepted in the campaign. This will certainly help the cryptotalk forum have a better reach rather than paying for every other spam post. Even if some of the old Chipmixer participants have average level of posting quality, some or the other read those posts. But sadly, majority of the forum is simply preventing the cryptotalk posters due to the level of spam being generated by these low life posters. If Yahoo were to talk with Yobit and implement the merit criteria, we could be pretty much sure around 100-150 of the these low-level spammers would be kicked from the campaign for posting absolute nonsense. They should never be paid in bitcoin for posting such nonsensical and trivial posts and they are meant to stay in Altcoin Bounties forever.

This is what even I am fighting for - bring down the number of participants but I already said that they are trying to create an army of shitposters, 'not everyone is considered a shitposter but many are in this campaign' to just fill the forum with garbage and earn a buck while Yobit gets the advertisement they want for cheap. They want fast advertisement instead of effective marketing and whoever is behind the campaign spending these big amounts, need to look for a better consultant in order to make the campaign spender understand that this is not how it will work. Even if not 60, 50 participants are enough with higher ranks and around 0.0005 BTC per post payment to each with Max 30-40 paid posts weekly is what I consider to be an effective way of marketing here. If 0.0005 BTC * 40 paid posts are there = 0.02 BTC per participant per week which means 0.08 BTC per month for that participant. Now, 0.08 BTC * 50 participants = 4 BTC. See how much BTC saved? And even if they go for double, meaning 100 participants, then max would be 8 BTC. And considering they hire Yahoo or Darkstar to manage this campaign as you proposed, I do not think there will be any shit quality posters allowed in this campaign and the exposure Cryptotalk will get through those 100 participants will be much more effective against the defamation that they are representing in front of us by doing what they are doing.

Honestly I agree with you. Right now if you see a CryptoTalk signature you just sigh and assume the person posting is going to have nothing of value to say. It's not a good look for their forum as it implies that there will be nothing of value over there either. Meanwhile if you see a ChipMixer signature you immediately know that the person knows what they're talking about, is relatively trusted, etc. Realistically improving the quality of their posters will do a lot from them. High-quality, engaged posters will generate the most revenue and organic activity for them, and they will never go over to CryptoTalk with how the signature campaign makes it look currently. I've popped a PM over to yobit myself rather than expecting yahoo to as I'm sure he regularly communicates his concerns to them, and see what they respond.

I also agree with the above. Even 1 dollar per post or 1.5 depending on the price of Bitcoin is huge money if you're paying for shitposts like some of the members of this campaign have produced. Even if a spammer gets kicked he's still paid by Yobit for what he got before he got caught. This is an enormous waste of money if we count in people who were copying old posts, bumping threads as old as 10 years, and spamming games and rounds with one liners and making more than $20 a day doing so.
A quality post that gets merited and quoted by others is worth more than 20 spam posts and Yobit could easily get a quality post per every dollar spent.

I'd like to play a devil's advocate if I am going to hire an excellent poster with 200 posts and a member rank and a legendary average poster with 8000 posts, who do I hire? I'll go for a legendary average poster with 8000 posts, This is 8000 posts showing visibility of my ads, people are not only looking for relevant topics but people are also looking for an answer to their queries whether it is a 5-year-old post. Yobit people want advertising I don't think they will settle for 50 excellent posters they want 300 or more average posters, they want visibility.

Yobit people want advertising I don't think they will settle for 50 excellent posters they want 300 or more average posters, they want visibility. This has the trade-off of being an exchange or just a service with a low reputation. As DiamondCardz has mentioned, even though you write a good, instructive, discussable reply, as one person sees the Cryptotalk signature it automatically gives you the vibe of being a potential spammer. On the forum, you mostly see the signature first, then the reply and finally the person who actually posted the reply. If one thread has a billion people with all being Cryptotalk signature members, it sometimes gets annoying. Especially when more than half of those members are just shitposting. If they want visibility. So be it, lower the reward for lower ranks and increase it for higher ranks, put a merit limit and (maybe) include special bonuses? So far, since the beginning of October, I've reported a lot of people to Yahoo due to violation of rules or just straight up abusing the campaign. A considerable number of them were Sr. Members. Although it will definitely cut the number of people participating, if you were to take out the Sr. Members from the campaign and just double what you are paying to Hero and Legendary members, I definitely bet you that the overall post quality will improve. Having a Hero or Legendary accounts is not easy. Especially if you weren't one before the merit system. Your idea of paying a person who has 8000 posts might be viable, however, the posts would most likely be outdated, in random threads, on page 295 of Services or any other reason. YoBit also needs "activity" there are hundreds of threads being started every single day, which is basically the dream for shitposters. I think according to the latest thread of suchmoon is that there are now more than 510 members in the campaign. But how many are actually "worth it"? I know that long posts aren't really the key and one short answer to a good question might be worth 3 long posts, but there are a lot of people who aren't even "posting" or "replying" to me, some posts are no different than "thank you, you're the best" which adds no constructive criticism, thought, idea. Nothing, nada. YoBit has revived the signature campaign and posting on Bitcointalk, but I am not sure if it's in a good way, or bad way. They can always fix it though. All they have to do is read suggestions and listen to Yahoo.

Just don't bother because in the first place you are not qualified to join in this campaign, read the rules first and wait until you rank up to sr. Rules : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188047.msg52571948#msg52571948

The owners of this sig campaign will evaluate it's efficiency after the campaign ends. They could have ended this way earlier if they were not getting any results from the campaign. Having such a big campaign on a forum like Bitcointalk is a very aggressive marketing approach. They might have a different thought in mind that you may not have, anybody who advertises here knows that advertising here would be highly beneficial to their crypto project because of the user base this forum has. Paying 10 BTC per month for advertising is insane. Those guys probably know how to get a good ROI from such investment.
No, because Chipmixer is also spending around the same amount each month while they have very less amount of members involved in the campaign, the only difference is the quality that they conquer the forum with.

I just tried to send my signature campaign rewards to my yobit balance but nothing is happening. Preciously, that "send to my BTC balance" button is not working from my end.
Anyone else is facing similar problem?
I wish this campaign should last for some longer duration by contributing to this crypto community in more productive way. But, not sure what is happening.

It's the 2nd time this problem occurs, but don't worry this will be refilled soon like they did last month I guess. The campaign has many participants so its expected that the budget will be fully consume by the participants, but just like they always do, they refill. next time if you have this kind of problem, better PM the manager too so he can get an update from the cryptotalk team.

There is an answer for your question which locates in previous page of this topic. Delayed payments for several hours or days won't kill participants so be patient guys. You guys need to chill. Did 15 of you really need to post that the send btc button is not working? Don't ya think sending me a pm would have been the smarter option? Or would that kill a post for you?
The campaign had a 10btc budget for the 1st month, i've been checking the withdraws daily and knew the balance would run out today. I'm sure they will refill the balance by Monday, no need for every single participant to post their button isn't working.

I read this thread almost from the beginning and it is probably time to speak in the debate about this signature campaign. I see that many of you underestimate the power of advertising on the Bitcointalk forum and think that such a budget as this campaign has is far too much and it almost looks like Yobit is throwing money away. In my opinion, it's quite the opposite. Some time ago Livecoin exchange had 2 medium-sized campaigns here. I found traffic data for the Livecoin website and it turned out that this Bitcointalk campaign was responsible for 15% of the internet traffic generated on this website. Now when we take into consideration that this campaign is actually the biggest one on this forum, then we can easily assume that it generates a lot more as 15% of the traffic for CryptoTalk.org. Additionally, this campaign is paid using Yobit wallets and all participants will buy, sell, exchange, withdraw and pay fees for all these transactions, providing more traffic, liquidity on the exchange and adding to the overall volumes. I just can imagine how to spend better any money for advertising. Don't underestimate targeted advertising and the Bitcointalk forum provides exactly such high quality targeted traffic in the cryptocurrencies and blockchain niche. This is the biggest cryptocurrency forum and advertising here is worth all the money and efforts, especially for companies or products from this niche. I think I have to add that I am using Yobit frequently from the start and never had a single problem with them. Of course, you have to always be careful on crypto exchanges and we have many tutorials here on Bitcointalk on how to stay safe, so I will not repeat everything here, only provide link to tutorial which was originally written by me and translated to the English language by another member. @Yahoo, you said it right, BTC is everything all of us (participants) are worried about which is why the "Send to my BTC balance" debate pops up every time their wallet goes out of funds.
Yobit is throwing money away. In my opinion, it's quite the opposite. Those who believe this are totally stupid IMHO. Yobit knows what they are doing here, so we don't need to teach them anything. Now when we take into consideration that this campaign is actually the biggest one on this forum, then we can easily assume that it generates a lot more as 15% of the traffic for CryptoTalk.org. Why not? They have now reached around 10k members in less than 2 months total 'while I can't comment over how many are unique accounts and how many are alts' but a hefty user base in very less time. Additionally, this campaign is paid using Yobit wallets and all participants will buy, sell, exchange, withdraw and pay fees for all of these transactions, providing more traffic, liquidity on the exchange and adding to the overall volumes. You didn't add their investbox, YoPony game and dice here? Most users prefer to gamble their coins on their dice because even if it is not provably fair, I have seen that chances of doubling (sometimes quadrupling) your coins in a few moments is very easy. And the type of advertising Yobit is doing here is probably dual advertising (hitting 2 targets) at the cost of single project (with just one arrow). This is the biggest cryptocurrency forum and advertising here is worth all the money and efforts, especially for companies or products from this niche. I will not comment on whether Yobit is scam or not anymore, but they have obviously taken a relatively good approach by requesting Yahoo to be the manager of their campaign, this is helping them look more trustworthy here and that is kind of bringing them to the advantage of having those 'Yahoo fans' getting to their forum and exchange both and they are enjoying that. I think I have to add that I am using Yobit frequently from the start and never had a single problem with them. Same here, they look shady but no problems here with me so far. That does not mean that if I have not been scammed by them till now, will not get scammed in the future. I am aware of the complains and the red paints against them so I can't trust them fully but to some extent.
