As the campaign is managing by Yahoo, I think he will take care of it. Spammer/Shit poster won't get a chance from him! I am sure you will see a lot of "woke up" accounts in Cointalk/Yobit signature campaign. But Yahoo will remove them as well!

So many "multilingual" accounts popping up, users switching from fluent English to Russian/Indonesian/Tagalog to broken English. This campaign surely brings out the best in people. /s
That is the problem if there is no limit when accepting participants, every sleeping account will wake up and start posting if there is no campaign manager to select, Yahoo is overlooking the campaign but he does not select which user is enrolled and this will be a big headache for him.
But it will be a good catch to identify sold accounts  Grin.
More ban hammers expecting because of this campaign. Wink.

You do not need to be worry about it as Yahoo will manage this campaign well and only good posters will remain in the campaign.
The thing which take my attention is who is the owner of crypto talk forums ? Is the the Yobit themselves because they are spending a good lots of funds to spreading this crypto talk forum advertisements here.

Most likely. Last time I see a campaign like this, it ended in vain, as most users no longer post after there is no payment.

Yobit is throwing a lot of money in this one, not sure what their aim is but they certainly have to do better than give them some satoshi to posts on their forums. One of the possibilities is they're gonna use that forum to promote/market their 'IEO,' with funds from the project that made a deal with them. Not good marketing if that's happening.

It shows how many high-ranking accounts are just waiting to activate the moment there's a financial gain.

My version of the list here. I wanted to produce more stats on Merit per post, but unlike the ChipMixer applications, most users barely have anything to show for.

This campaign will be perfect for catching alts and farmers as they won't be able to resist coming out of the woodwork to jump on this campaign with as many accounts as they can. A campaign that pays them for 20 posts per day no questions asked and without the scrutiny of a bounty manager is an ideal situation for them as they're less likely to be exposed. Already noticed some shenanigans:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=926537     mmo4me.2016 December 03, 2016

Two line shitposter with no posts since May 30, 2019 until yesterday.

Saw he merited this user (also on the new campaign):

Dear all
How to i can creat my SmartNodes direct from my wallet run Window
I try many times but  can not run!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=926808 mmo_online_1981     December 04, 2016

Also no posts since April 22, 2019 until yesterday. Another two line shitposter and registered a day after him. Obvious alts.

That user merited this account that was registered a within a month of the other two but is permabanned:

Hello,

I want to inform you that are still 5 days until the season 2 airdrop of Refereum project.
I accidentally joined it , didn`t think they are so serious but in time i found out that they are very serious and they have a huge succes and progress.
It`s related to gaming community and twitch also and their telegram group has reached 100k.
I also received 1000 RFR on the first airdrop season , and now they just launched RFR on a big exchange.

So if you wouldl like join the telegram group in order to maintain it as the biggest on !

Telegram
You need to check rules of airdrop program! More info in official web site of token!

So possible ban evasion there if anyone wants to try find a concrete link between them.

A lot of companies are starting their own boards. Stake has done it. Some even do their own signature campaigns like Stake and I think even Ver tried doing it on his. It's a good marketing tool and you cab control the dialogue as you see fit (if they wish). It's also a potential huge money maker if the site gains some traction and if it does other sites will start advertising there and maybe even their own sig campaign economy will boom. One thing for sure is if this forum ever bans campaigns there will be at least one other forum that tries to capitalise that and the traffic/sig campaigners will be looking for somewhere else and that will surely be lucrative for the operators if it every happens.

So you mean that cryptotalk will last that long and even prosper to take over the signature campaigns from here to there ?
I do not think so as i have seen in the past the new forums comes with a bang and also disappears in no time.  icoforums was one example of that.

If you need to sustain in the market and grab a market share, you need to start slowly and also the advertisement funds need to be utilized properly and not all at once.  Cheesy

This campaign undoubtedly attracts users who almost have no chance of being part of any other signature campaign, and they will take suitability of automatic join to get as much they can before someone report then for spam/low-quality posting. I don't really see the main problem in this despite the fact that each user can produce as many as 120 posts per week, with an unlimited number of slots.

The real problem is the promotion of something that was labeled bad until just a few days ago, and some users are even red-tagged for promoting YoBit. Nothing has changed in terms of a very shady business of YoBit, crypto exchange with hundreds of scam reports only on this forum.

Can the fact that they are now hiding behind some forum and that respected member of this forum will check participants, change all the bad things that have followed them for years? YoBit is still crypto exchange with a very bad reputation.

There's an explanation to why so many accounts woke up to join. Yobit was sending emails with a link to their campaign to all their users. You could be out of this forum for months and then you get an offer that somebody is willing to pay almost $2 for every post and you don't have to apply, you get in automatically.

This is the part most of us have a problem with, but I saw comments that 20 a day is fine. Most campaigns go for 20-50 paid posts a month. You can look at some top posters of yobit to see what shit you have to produce to reach this number.

If a person controls many accounts, you monitor the forum for such campaigns. I call them the "Sleepers".

Check these two users.

1. TillKoeln
He is advertising his links and is posting burst while wearing Cryptotalk signature. (http://archive.is/Z7GV5)

2. snakey (3 negative trusts)
This user didn't make any post between June 18 and September 27. (http://archive.is/R3mrN)
Today, he worn Crytotalk signature and made 20 posts between 09:18:54 AM - 10:29:09 AM and became offline again. (http://archive.is/p1YWH)

Special thanks to LoyceV
http://loyce.club/active/1h.html is really helpful.

As stats of cryptotalk signature campaign participants are updated regularly every 3-4 hours, seems that they are able to cash out their earning easily before Yahoo bans them

I did try joining the last yobit campaign but weren't really paying and now that they confirmed the campaign is paying I can't join because my account is already inactive lol.
Anyway,  in the cryptotalk forum itself they were giving away 1BTC for users with the most posts. Will the once you guys reported going to be excluded in their campaign?

Can the fact that they are now hiding behind some forum and that respected member of this forum will check participants, change all the bad things that have followed them for years? YoBit is still crypto exchange with a very bad reputation.
Now they opened a campaign to promote a new crypto forum called cryptotalk.org which is not related to yobit.net yet but they are paying participants in yobit accounts.

This cannot be considered as promoting a scam site, right?

Only issue everyone talking about is spam,if that campaign doesn't produce it then they are fine to run a campaign here.

I had to put TillKoeln on my IGNORE list for the precise reason you mentioned. He ends up putting in posts in threads promoting his exchange.

I called it out weeks ago because his exchange called unnamed.exchange was an anonymous exchange, nobody knows who the owner is and nobody knows who to take to Court and in which jurisdiction in the event a legal matter arose.

First I was highly suspicious and now after 'un-IGNORING' the user to verify what you said it can be seen he is promoting the cryptotalk signature too.

I went to the website to check Terms and Conditions and still there are no ownership details so anybody sending their funds to that exchange is sending them to a anonymous person. Pathetic (he is added back to my IGNORE list)

I've already nuked 25 of these guys and will continue looking at more users all through tonight. I'm sure by the end of the night i'll have 50-100 accounts banned. I have been sending a warning to a few(4) who joined but have only done a few posts so far(burstposted the few they've done) and am giving these types the benefit of doubt. All the users that joined and spammed 20 posts will not be given a warning.

I am also noticing accounts that just woke up. Not a ton so far 10 range but not sure if I should auto nuke those guys or give them a chance? Technically they haven't done anything wrong and I don't know if they're bought accounts, hacked accounts, or what.

I am also noticing accounts that just woke up. Not a ton so far 10 range but not sure if I should auto nuke those guys or give them a chance? Technically they haven't done anything wrong and I don't know if they're bought accounts, hacked accounts, or what.
If you were managing a campaign as like bustadice, mintdice, windice or any other, you would certainly not accept the inactive accounts. That's what I too followed when I had checked the applicants in 2dice, I think you must follow that, it will let you minimize the spam. Most of the inactive accounts which woke up for joining signature campaign will provably produce spam.
By the way, the decision is up to you. You are experienced CM here and you know better than almost everyone what is good and what bad for both the forum and the project. I know you will control everything within couple of days.
Best of luck.
