Read through some of the other threads. People buy and sell coins here all the time. People will be cautious as you are a brand new account with no reputation at risk. So if you are planning Pay Pal or something else reversible you will probably be out of luck.

So I suggest posting exactly what you are looking for and what you plan on using to pay. Worst case you have to go to an exchange until you have a reputation here.

Yes you can buy bitcoin but there are some rules here;
1. Trusted person, as you are newcomer here, difficult to achieve it, therefore you have to use the second choice.

Easier to buy from someone near to you, maybe your family or friend or at least someone in the same country.
Because of security reasons, people tend to buy and sell bitcoin on the exchanger as a trusted company which you have to register (sometimes have to fulfill the KYC policy) and send the money first.

Why not buy at an exchange house?

At a time when exchanges were not developed this forum section was a p2p marketplace for buying and selling of coins against commercially available fiat. But then we had exchanges and now they are more safer compared to the problems of scammers lurking this section of the forum. Its not that you should avoid buying here but its risky to trade with people who are newbies with zero prior trades done.

Remember that the trust ratings on people's trust walls can often be subjective and thus read and use your own judgement based on facts and not assumptions to decide whether you trust anybody or not. Never send first to the trader whatever reason they may have, use an escrow for safety. Coins once sent are never retrievable.

Only with escrow, established partners(no newbies), irreversible payment methods, and a clear view to reality...
