For over 15 years both these fantastic gifted talents have stood head and shoulders above their colleagues and peers.

They have brought new meaning to the word consistency and they have hundreds of millions of men, women and children that follow their every move.

So if you were a Manager or Coach and had to select one player over the other, what would give as the reasons?

I prefer to see Messi when dribbling, Messi is smoother than Ronaldo in dribbling the ball. I think that Messi is the best soccer player in the world right now.

But if I were a coach/manager, I would prefer Ronaldo to be on my team! Because:

"You can take Cristiano Ronaldo to war and he'll win it for you all alone. For Lionel Messi, you need to bring all of his Barcelona teammates so he could actually do something.

Personally, I prefer Messi.

However, if I would be the coach, the decision should be made based on team's needs and not on sympathy. Of course, all coaches have guts and preferences and, sometimes, based on a last minute felling they win a match. Normally though, for each game a strategy should be performed, instead of sending a team in the field based on guts.

Now regarding Messi and Ronaldo, they play on different positions. Messi is a true number 10, the clear mind from the middle, while Ronaldo is a pure striker.

You have to think about your team's needs. They are both goals scoring machines, but they have different rols in the game, though.

I don't have a team or coach of my own but the one I like the most is Lionel Messi As a player, both good players play with different talents. But Lionel Messi is the best I have seen in every game and his jersey is No. 10.

Ohhh... what a hard choice. Both are fantastic. As an old Real Madrid supporter I'd choose Ronaldo though... Legends!

CRISTIANO RONALDO and LIONEL MESSI both are my favorite player. But this time I prefer CRISTIANO RONALDO. He plays like a magician. CRISTIANO RONALDO and LIONEL MESSI both are excellent.

Messi is a great player but Ronaldo is the best.
I would choose Ronaldo because he is more athletic and he provide more scoring solutions to the team he plays. He can make a goal without any real scoring opportunity and provide you with a win and 3 points.
