Based on past performances of many start ups, I have to agree with the above.

No. 3 is all about promises and we should all know by now that empty words are not worth a penny. Ideas are good but a relevant working product is what it takes to survive in today's competitive crypto market.

The companies and projects that you have mentioned is even new to me. I don't know about them and I understand your whole point of disappointment with the projects that we've got in the community. I think we need to pay attention to how much time it takes to get the product ready. Of course, we will wait 5 years for the product which will take 5 years to be ready. But, some of products are not a physical aset and do not require time to create it. Briefly I look at what the product promises and I don't have any problems with time. As far as I know, a lot of projects are not rushing to get quick gains, but, they are getting so many pressure by the short term speculators.

I'm even watching so many telegram groups from the various projects. A lot of companies and platforms and they are always getting pressure by the speculators that bought their token for long term or short term investment.

I'm not willing to create such an advertisement, but this is just an example. I invested in a company called crypterium. Crypterium company is always getting pushed by the buyers and speculators. The speculators and buyers didn't care if a proper development result can't be achieved in a short time. Even these speculators have called crypterium as a scam if the company may get delay due to the various reason just like a technical problem.

An excellent project indeed takes time, but investors can't be patience for that.

Well, the point with investing on new projects is that you get a chance to enter early and IF the project becomes successful you'll probably have a huge profit. But better profit comes with bigger risks too, so it's your choice what you want to do? Accept the bigger risk for a chance to have better ROI, or keep the risk low and be happy with any profit you take.

Just be careful not to invest in companies that are old but have no tech experience on blockchain but want to implement crypto for pure buzz word reasons. Not every company has a knowhow or understanding in what blockchain is suited to solve better then a normal databas, but they want to glue the blockchain on top of it anyhow to solve problems that don't exist as they have already a workimg product or the solutions are better suited for a database. Always look for firms who can actually deliver the promises and they make sense even to experts.

Thanks for this, there is no better truth than what you outlined. Many upcoming projects nowadays are just here for quick profits, the team will be active during the initial stage but once public sale finishes they will go mute and when asked you will hear, we are working on our project and yet nothing to show for. Like you rightly said, good projects takes time to build and any existing platform coming into the crypto space is mostly looking for ways to Implement new technologies thus the reason they always perform well. Also, owing to the nature of this space, investors value real working product and when they see such, won't hesitate to participate. You probably don't understand What Blockchain is about. I doubt if the so called old companies will build real decentralized projects. They will probably create tokens on top of existing Blockchains or build brand new Blockchain for their cryptocurrencies. We need something different. We need projects that are well decentralized.

If old companies release crypto project i will gladly join or even promote such project because it shows they are real and have a real life working products, how many projects have working products this days? its really not a bad option

Yup, that is one of the good projects that we should support. The one that are already existing and only wants to implement cryptocurrency in their mode of payments or use blockchain. But I still believed in some startups that want to turn their ideas into reality. And we should continue to support this kind of project to innovate or revolutionize the whole industry.

I think OP is pointing to identifying good projects from scam projects, company based blockchain projects are in existence so many would want to invest in such company because of the real life product, its different from projects that are built few months back and looking forward to raise fund with no real working product

Now there are no good ICO projects where you can invest your money with 100% confidence. I look for such projects every day, but I have doubts about all of them and I can not invest in any of them. Agree on point one, but in my opinion, beta testing of the project should take atleast 1 year before they implement their project, at the same time it gains market or people, and it creates hype that will allow people to be excited upon the project other than debugging the errors of the projects such as an exchange. IF they will about to launch it without even conducting an experiment about it, there's a huge chance that it will be just outnumbered in the market.

You will only waste time if every day you are looking for projects that are 100% good and safe for investment. I wouldn't say that companies which started off with crypto is necessarily a red flag in and of itself, because there are certain companies which genuinely offer crypto related services and that's just their entire business model.

What people should look out for are projects or companies which have no differentiating factor, operate in an already saturated market, and indefinitely asks for funding without any clear roadmaps.

Of course, old companies that implement crypto will be ideal, since they'd have both the exprience and expertise in their field already. However, it's not always possible to have a channel to invest in these companies.

I completely agree with you, now new companies only want to raise a huge amount of money and after that they don’t want to do anything at all, but companies that have been working in the cryptocurrency field for a couple of years and on cryptocurrency technologies are constantly working to improve their technologies and capabilities, before companies thought not only about money, but also about their product, and now, unfortunately, companies think only about money.

I have switched to old altcoins as well. Took me one year to understand that on such a market no new altcoin will bring profit. So 50 percent of my funds are in Bitcoin and it brings me more profit by doing nothing, than by taking part in various bounty programmes.
