Back in the day before fast internet connections were standard, I used Free Download Manager. Currently, I'm looking for a portable download manager that I can use on a thumb drive as I go computer to computer. However, I noticed two things about my old choice:

1) It isn't portable
2) It reports what you are downloading to their servers

I'd like to find a portable download manager that doesn't report everything I'm doing back to somebody else who is just going to use it to sell me ads. Does anybody have any recommendations? I will be plugging the thumb drive into primarily windows based systems.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I've seen several people recommend using a portable version of Firefox with the Downthemall add-on, but I wasn't sure if it reported back what I was downloading.
