What happened to the poll though? Were there negative comments about it? I don't mind polls like this. I too am curious about the demographic spread of the forum.

My race is not in the list. I'm Mongoloid.

LOL. I think I've heard the term used in my country but it's equated with "retard". Not very PC. Haven't heard it used in a long time though

i think "native american/aboriginal" is not really a single race,
btw those people also where immigrants to northamerica/australia.

and the dutch and spanish also where immigrants to north american before the english and the germans...

Simple poll here. I'm not sure if this is allowed but don't see why it wouldn't be. Mods, if I'm dropping this on the wrong board I apologize and please move it appropriately.

My curiousity was piqued after reading several posts bashing certain races in politics/society. Generally there was consensus in these threads and nobody reacted harshly or with offense which made me wonder... is the forum primarily composed of white/European users? Indian users? Are there less black folks here than one would imagine?

I realize my poll options are not the standard 3 or 4 races that one would normally define but I wanted to get a little more granular by region without overdoing the options.

Drop your vote! Would love to see a lot of people participate so we can get some tangible numbers. Thanks!

I am Asian with the characteristics of Hispanic features since our country has been colonized by the Spaniards for 333 years which is the reason why most of us(Filipino) has
Spanish surnames. also India is part of Asia.

true asian are only the east asians (china, japan, koreas) to a lesser extgent south east asians), indians look almost like middle easterners or latin americans.

indians don't fall into the category europeans/westerners distinguish indians and chinese quite strictly nowadays.

women should also be listed as a seperate race/species.

This is what I was getting at, yes. While India is a part of Asia there are obvious and distinct differences in physical appearance, culture, etc between someone in India and someone in Japan.

I'm going to add women to the list out of curiosity. I don't think there are many here however.

And I thought there's no poll like this here on Bitcointalk, honestly, I'm not aware of the actual number or do we have exact data that can tell us how many Asians or Americans or Europeans are here but this poll will give us an indication, our only indicator is the local boards, but there are people who are not active in their respective local boards, I'm from Asian which in this poll is the second most number of poll but I expect this to grow as there are still many Asians not yet voting here.

Thanks for the responses so far everyone. Hoping this gets a little more attention. I was aiming for something like 500 to 1000 responses but it doesn't look like it'll get there. Maybe with some time the numbers will keep piling up.

The day when a majority of population becomes ashamed of themselves for no reason marks the end of this population as is. Such a nation has no future, this is why any conqueror is trying to impose such agenda on his subjective nation.

Modern conqueror is an aggressive minority of illegal migrants which is backed by private organizations and their pocket media. This is actually a nice poll and it catches my attention. So far the whites are in the lead by 49% and followed asian with 34%. I am an asian and I came from the Philippines. I hope the poll will be per country so that we can finally see where is the country that has the largest community in this forum. But this poll is also good and I will check it out after a month to see if we the Asians have overtake and be the number 1 in the poll.
