Just le me know. If i have eth worth 0.02 btc and i ask for a loan of 0.018 btc with collateral that amout of eth. WHY THIS ISNT STRANGE BUT MY REQUEST IT IS!? Because people ask for a loan in a crypto they are not holding, and provide a different crypto (that they would prefer not to sell, but could be sold to recover the lender's costs if they default) as collateral. It makes absolutely zero sense to ask for a loan of bitcoin whilst sending bitcoin as collateral. There is not a bank in the world which will give you a $1000 loan on the condition that you first give them $1100 to hold. You are sending bitcoin to marlboroza as collateral, and he could literally send you the exact same bitcoin back (minus a percentage) as the loan. It makes no sense. This whole exercise is just proof that you don't actually need the loan for any reason, and are just doing this to try to farm trust.

Its make sense when you invest them. You cant compare real bank with crypto... You cant be sure this "exercise" its pointless or just for farming, but its your opinion. Thanks for your advice, i'll keep my point of view.

Technically there is such a thing as a secured credit card. It's a product designed - you'd never guess - to build a good credit score for someone who has none or fucked it up somehow.

Its make sense when you invest them. How does it make sense saying you need a loan of BTC to invest when you are giving away more BTC than you are receiving as collateral? Why not just invest the BTC you already have? Why lose some of your BTC in fees for no benefit? If you wanted BTC to invest, and didn't have any BTC, then you could offer something else as collateral so you could receive some BTC. I should have been more specific - no bank will give you $1000 in cash but ask you to hand them $1100 in cash first, but even products like secured credit cards generally provide a higher amount of credit than the security deposit provided. If DadyD was sending 0.0015 BTC as collateral and someone was naive enough to fund a 0.003 loan based on that (for example), then I could maybe understand the point of the loan. As it stand, this loan is literally pointless.

I can only think of cash secured loans where you receive interest from collateral (well, not technically from collateral) and pay interest to bank for credit and sometimes both parties can make profit. It is still cash collateral for cash loan.

Please avoid to reply anymore if not interested in loan.
OP updated, if someone still interested.
I know i'm new and none will trust me easy but i can try anyway.
Loan Amount: 0.0015BTC Loan Purpose: Invet Loan Repay Amount: 0.002BTC Loan Repay Date: Within 48h Type of Collateral: my escrow will pay you if i dont repay my loan. i'll sent first 0.0017 as collateral if needed. Escrow profile Link: marcotheminer removed. Bitcoin Address: 3GmZmYbZKLJ8TyR5mvFEUXwxvbffb1BEpD
I am interested. Send 0.0017 BTC collateral to this address bc1qgt59jdkfz2uvt00nddrfheuzu4mcts5dhyer3m and confirm this 3GmZmYbZKLJ8TyR5mvFEUXwxvbffb1BEpD is address where I will send 0.0015 BTC. Repayment address: bc1qgt59jdkfz2uvt00nddrfheuzu4mcts5dhyer3m Ah then, hypocrites take a bite regardless Good to see.. Just le me know. If i have eth worth 0.02 btc and i ask for a loan of 0.018 btc with collateral that amout of eth. WHY THIS ISNT STRANGE BUT MY REQUEST IT IS!? This whole exercise is just proof that you don't actually need the loan for any reason, and are just doing this to try to farm trust. In a way it does make sense: you have $1000 to spend right there - knowing there is still $1000+ of yours held by someone else. T If you cannot pay that $1000 back, then you have X days to replace it+interest, and you are back to your original amount. In my mind it kind of makes sense, especially if loan received is sold for cash or spent/traded/gambled immediately as is the case here I'm pretty sure. Funds returned, I am no longer able to cover any loan funds.
Can we see the TX IDs of you receiving the amount and returning it? I tipped back via Yolodice - that was kind of a point too.

Next time don't forget me, please! You can ping me on Telegram (same as my nickname) if you need a quick answer, then I'll answer both on Telegram and here. I accept any loan (if I have the funds), from newbie or not, as long as there is a valid collateral

So what was the point of pushing this "loan"? Your negative trust its the point, almost for what you need to know. Thanks for the loan, tomorrow i should be abble to repay it or within 9/10.
Whatever you say, keep me informed. I forget to ask you to which address do you want your collateral back?
