It's shifting from $7900 to $8100 I don't think it will go down to the $7000 like what one post predicted, we are  just over three months to go in 2019 and there's not much improvement on the price, quite surprising to think that Bitcoin halving is just next year, it's still bearish like what happen last year, I wonder what will happen if this same situation persists in the first quarter of the year.

The prices fluctuates very frequent in this highly volatile currency and this time they are below $8000 and might go down as the predictions are there so its not time to discuss prices but this is oppurtunity for the investors as momentum can be shifted towards them and they can enjoy profit when the prices go high.We hope that the market hits bull run soon after the correction so HODL.

The charts look like Bitcoin is about to make another drop under 8k$. Also I saw a lot of theter moving into exchanges like ~50mil$ so I guess whales are about to buy the dip when it happens or even consolidate the buy orders even more. Anyway its a night to watch the bitcoin action and some of us will get less sleep in order to make sure we won't miss that drop.

What relevance does China have in the market now, there was a time when every news coming out from China could have an implication on the market valuation and i have seen many drop in price simply because of FUD news coming out from China and now we get rid of that for a long time, now a days the market does not respond to these FUD news most of the time.

What relevance does China have in the market now, there was a time when every news coming out from China could have an implication on the market valuation and i have seen many drop in price simply because of FUD news coming out from China and now we get rid of that for a long time, now a days the market does not respond to these FUD news most of the time.
The market is looking for a direction and we might see some fall before the rally.

I also remember those days where the FUD from china affects the emotions of crypto investors and traders, but that's been long forgotten as adoptions
is now the basis of movements, not every specific news that spread around creates anything but since investors are wise now doing research and make

I don't think Bitcoin will drop below $ 8000, because this is the lowest point at $ 8500 so it could possibly go up more than $ 9200 more, whatever happens next month I hope you already hold BTC because Bitcoin is likely to rise rapidly.

Well at different times price become different so if you have any idea about the current price you will know that it can increase more than this it’s about the potential of the coin. $6k is the low price I don’t expect that low. Holding will increase this price but I truly believe that bitcoin has guts to be more $20k this will happen very soon till the end of 2020.

*Note* I do realize this thread is a few days old.  That's why I want to point out that they are basically unnecessary, because right now on preev bitcoin is going for $8341.  While that might seem a staggering move within 3 days, it is normal for bitcoin, and it wasn't a big deal at all that it had fallen to below $8000.  Right now this is one of the stagnation periods that bitcoin goes through every now and then, and we all just have to wait and see which way the real movement is going to be, when the market starts to show some clear momentum.

I would also add that since I am a firm believer that the market is going to rally eventually and that bitcoin will probably at least approach its all time high next year, any time you are able to buy it at prices like these is a golden opportunity.  Sentiment is not poor at all.  Rather, the market is just taking a breather after exploding out of the $3500ish range.

If these people had no other options but to use their money for personal expenses, we barely see bitcoin price go down for several hours and thereafter recovers back. Same with fiat consumption, when there's worldwide celebrations many bank would be out of cash because of tha reasons, but you won't notice the value will fall so fast due to regulation. Unlike with crypto, price will decline badly if crypto user of that county like china dumped a huge amount of their asset will cause a decrease on btc value.

The value of bitcoin will probably not dump to 8000 below and i think that it will bounce back before the end of this month and it could hit between the value of $10,000 - $12,000.

And when halving is near then it might reach more than the ATH then altcoins will surely follow up and it could take a lot of profit if we buy in cheap like today.

Yes that's  nice to hear but sometimes it becomes difficult to manage emotions especially when you don't want to risk the existing value when you have planned for a short term investment, it become too tough to hold on that's why I have segregated my investment into different grades like short term funds,  long term funds and day trading. Yes we need to dedicate a set amount of BTC to sell in post halving.
