hi guys
do u prefer short or long term investing in crypto i prefer short term only
i just buying a coin for ex at 20 and sold at 21 or buy at 60 sold 61 in the same
day i don't like long term investing because it take too long and finally that
coin can fall even peoples who bought ETH at 0.03 or more they are in big lost
now and even BNB some peoples bought at 0.003 or even 0.004 i know
that some coins can raise in the future but i don't think we have to hold
coins for yeras when u can make in this periode thousands of dollars
in short term investments i remember when i make 1700$ in hours
with NLC2 its a shit coin true with price of 20 sat now but i don't care
because i didn't hold it i just checked its chart and i found it falling
to 800 sat and raising to 900 in seconds so i bought it many times
at 800 and i sold it 900 and i make 1700$ i less then two hours  
what i want to say is why u holding coins for a year when u can
make at least 25 - 50$ in a day with only 0.15 - 0.20 BTC this
means 50*365=18250$

for the long-term investment, you need to be rich first lol. if you're poor like me you need to take your steps for short-term (sad but true)

we are not in a position like holding 100 btc for 10 years. you need to gain your cryptocurrencies and need to consume these asap to live your life, at least, in these market situations we need to act like that. because most cryptocurrencies prices are the same and do not increase much more. so it makes no sense to hold them for investment. but you can hold your tokens if bull-run starts btw.

For someone who is still finding his or her way up with crypto it will be very hard and challenging to rely on long term investment because they can take you years to achieve your aims so long term investment is only good for those who have other ways of making money

Why don't to choose both the short and long term. This way can optimize the profits of crypto investment. Some coins are targeted to gain faster profits, while others are focused on higher profits in the long term.

Short term and long term investment both have their advantages and disadvantages, for short term i will go for bitcoin because of its popularity, either trading or just investment bitcoin is the best shot and for long term altcoins are better choice but its just that longterm investment is not for everybody, you need to be prepared for the worst and know that altcoin investment is very risky

Short term investment contains much more risks and is very likely to fail on such a market. Invest in the most proven altcoins and Bitcoin to reduce the risks of getting scammed by new coins. I prefer to invest in long term, because on a falling market it is almost impossible to reach good results.

I'm not against your strategy but not everyone can avail that minimum capital that you are giving as an example. I prefer the long term, I don't want the pressure and I'm not well with scalping which is your strategy. We have our own preferred strategy and terms in investing. If you are well with the short term, continue it but if someone prefers to just watch the market and see his investments grow in time through holding it for long term, let them be at peace. We have different preference and where we are good at.

Starting from intraday is one of the most common mistakes newbie traders make. You need to start from long term, then move into swing trading and only after that dare to enter intraday.

When you calculate your chances on success and huge profits you will make, please take 5-10 minutes to think about this fact: The money that you have "won" would have to come from someone else. Do you really consider yourself much more cleverer and tougher then other physical and bot traders?

Profits in excess of 5-10% p.a. are not sustainable, you might get lucky but general 5-10% is max you can count on and that with some serious discipline and work.

The scenario you are describing is unrealistic. It is impossible to trade this way every day.
Of course, long-term investments are in the foreground.
In the short-term, I dare to play only in a growing market.

Some of us like to do short term investment while others like to do long term investment. But, for me in terms of huge income, I would rather to do long term investment which is more secure to earn huge income. If you want to do long term investment you should invest in top major cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum because both of them are really good for that kind of investment. So if I were you should do long term investment.

It all depends really. I want to hold both long term and also have a short term bag for trading. I am just waiting for the coin I like to trade to have more liquidity again as I used to make nice little pocket money trading it for eth, then I can add it to my cloud token wallet in various digital currencies to earn around 6-10% monthly in order to compound the wealth. That is my plan along with holding a few other coins for long term holding. Short term to make a lot of money you need a decent bag to trade. We need to find some passive avenues to compound and grow our income, as trading also can be both risky and volatile and you don't always win on every trade.  This is what we need to do, have many strategies and a plan B, otherwise, we face difficulties. I am learning the hard way but hopefully form my bad experiences, I can do something better in this last part of 2019.

Making short-term or long-term investments is equally profitable, all depending on their expertise and needs.
in the short term, they tend to do so because they have no fixed income other than in cryptocurrency and maybe a short term option to meet their needs even though the short term will only produce a small profit.
in the long run, most of them already have a steady income or a permanent job which of course meets their needs and long-term investment is the best choice for them, and in the long run will get more profit.

Why complain that long term investment takes too long? well its the best ever because long term investment always have coolest returns, if you buy bitcoin 5years ago you know how much you will worth today? people are on haste to make profit from crypto, well here is a fact, it takes years for good projects to return good profitd to early investors

Its a matter of choice here, if you are looking for quick profits then go for shortterm investment plan or ways of making profits, learn how to make profits in crypto space with short term investment strategy, example is trading.

Well, that is the sad reality. Honestly its depend on your choice, you can still go for long term investment even if you have only small capital but expect the profit will not be that high. Shorterm-investment, on the other hand, has a chance that will give you an enough profit but the problem is that in given short time there's a chance that uptrend won't come and it will leave no choice for you to wait or else this will be a loss for you so technically this will become a long-term investment.

If you are trading altcoin below the top 10 CMC or coins that are being hype, it's better to just take the short term. because you are more likely to lose. Just put your balance in BTC and leave 2 or 3 years and come back when it grows. And please save the BTC in the hardware wallet to be safe & fully controlled.

Altcoin is indeed quite risky because it's all the moments that we really have to find quite right to be able to invest. agree with you that indeed the most appropriate investment is bitcoin. altcoin is more suitable for trading for me
