Bitcoin Long Term Investing & why this is the only way to Financial Freedom

Long term investment, but how long? Would it be financial freedom? I don't think so. Financial freedom is that you have to ability spend your fund anytime anywhere.

Holding Bitcoin for a long time can be one of the ways to financial freedom.  Looking at investors' perspective and looking at Bitcoin History,  If those who bought on the year 2010 don't hodl their Bitcoin and sell them as soon as they saw a 1 dollar profit, then I believe most of popular early investors today wouldn't be that popular.  Furthermore a $1  investment Wayback that time, and they keep it until now would have yield more than  12,500,000%.  

The first real price increase occurred in July 2010 when the valuation of a bitcoin went from around $0.0008 to $0.08 for a single coin.

Imagine investing a $100 on Bitcoin way back 2010 would have given a profit of $12m+ and that is enough to give those investors financial freedom.  It might be harder today but of course, it is still possible, if not on Bitcoin maybe on altcoin.

So just hold and hold for a long time wouldn't be a brilliant decision and wouldn't be financial freedom as well. For example, you bought bitcoin at $3K and you Holden it for 2 years, eventually, it's become $50K each, so still, do you think you need to hold more longer? If so then how long? I am also a fan of a long time holder, but my point is when I have a handsome profit then don't be greedy and enjoy your financial freedom. Don't make mistake like I am suffering by mistake of 2017.

It is obvious that in a certain span of time we have to sell in order to reap our reward.  Would it give us financial freedom, depends on our decision.  After all, profit on Bitcoin all depends in our patience.

My thought is Digital currencies may also be a long-term investment due to their high market demand. Lower inflation risk: Unlike world currencies. which are regulated by their governments. bitcoin is immune to inflation. The blockchain system is infinite and there's no need to worry about your cryptos losing their value.

I don't agree that long-term investing is the "Only" way to financial freedom. It is one of the ways to financial freedom that you accumulate the bitcoin in small quantities over a long period of time and enjoy the benefit of average out the price so that you can make a sizable amount of profit at the end of it. That's normal and even possible with stock investing. So it is one of the ways and not the only way for sure!

However, the price fluctuation also gives us immense opportunities to make money. Majority of the traders surviving in the crypto market are actually dependent on the small & quick price changes in the market. When you say long term investing only, you are limiting yourself from the opportunities the market provides to you and thus loosing the benefit.

In fact, I'm glad to see a YouTube channel dedicated to crypto here. This is really important for promoting the idea. Many people have no idea how it works. So you're doing something important. I also believe that bitcoin is an investment in the future.

First, I like the way you act in your own thread. Sometimes, people will only make a thread and not active enough to be back and answer or respond to the replies from others. I appreciate it.
Well, about long term investment, your video created should be based o your own experience, right? that is why we cannot blame your way of it, about doing a long term investment in Bitcoin and using TA. It may work very well for you.
And for those who are against the use of TA, I think they also have their own opinion and experience. Sometimes, a strategy of someone will not work on someone else. But with this, we can enhance our ways to analyze whether the ways as you did in your channel can work on us or not, or combining it.

Next, about the long-term investment. It may be about one year, two, or more, or event about a bullish market to the next bullish market again? Probably everybody also has its own definition of a long term investment.
For me personally, investing in Bitcoin is a promising idea. Here, I can divide the BTC into three ways,:
1. Daily trading (although I am still very bad in this way, just a beginner, trying to be a good trader but still can't)
2. Short term investment, as I think the definition of short-term investment is that making some percentage of total BTC that I have to hold and then sell when it comes with enough profits increases. for example, the price has increased around more than 20% starting from buying the Bitcoin, so, I can sell them.
3. For a long-term investment, in this way only a few percentages and to wait for the next bullish time.

The important thing is that I only think about never missing any chance or moment so that we will not regret the price.

I will tell you even more: many traders earn only on fast and short-term price changes. For example, those who trade binary options. There, the system is completely built on rapid changes (and on very small ones, such as one minute). So long-term storage is not the best and certainly not the only way to financial freedom.

There's not much to explain about long term investing as probably a lot of us already believe that crypto has a future or its the future. Bitcoin has been proven to a strong asset, it has cause a lot of panic many times when it dump but it always bounce back that is why it will survive.

You are one of the many telling bitcoin is a good long term investment, and it's good to see people sharing long term as well and not only TAs on short term, so yes, I would check your channel and let's see if I can find some information that I haven't heard before.

what more can i say? the OP should consider other alternatives and if it is the only way, how about other people who are outside of crypto? they don't have the chance to financial freedom? i dont think so.
 people who are not into crypto have other ways to achieve financial freedom. if you are a person who set goals for your future and keep on track to achieve that goal, then you have to chance to achieve financial freedom. pay off debts, build your assets, live simply, invest, and a lot more. there are so many strategies to achieve financial freedom. so no need for someone to just accumulate btc holdings.

my name is Marian i have been in the Cryptospace since since 2016. I have watched the market and the people that interact with bitcoin for a long time and i feel it is the time to further spread the knowledge of what Bitcoin is and why it is so important to invest long term. There are a lot of people promising "moon shots" and speculate or do "Emergency" videos for Click-bait, but they all forget the core the main function and reason why bitcoin exists.

I think you are right - only long-term trading can lead to financial freedom. Let me explain why. When you trade long-term, it means that you have good reserves of money and a financial cushion in case of life. Therefore, when you allow yourself to trade long-term, you are already financially successful.

The purpose of you post is to promote your youtube channel. For that reason, I hold it to a higher standard than other posts (such as those asking questions or stating opinions, or sharing knowledge). Your post is disingenuous because it talks about long-term investing, but you are promoting a youtube channel about TA. The two are incompatible.

If you did not promote your channel here, my response might have been positive. If you promoted your channel, but without hiding behind the mantle of long-term investing, I might have just explained how TA is bogus.

There needs to be a target that must be achieved when choosing to make long-term investments. Holding on for a long time without having a definite target price is ineffective, as anyone wants to get more profit when holding bitcoin. It is not how long the target can be achieved, but how fast the Bitcoin price is able to reach the desired target.

About financial freedom, you are right about that, because financial freedom is not limited by long-term investments, financial freedom is that you have to be able to spend the money you have anytime and anywhere.

When you have achieved big profits, such as ATH in 2017, a good decision will indeed end it and enjoy the benefits, don't be too greedy if you exceed the target achieved. mistakes in 2017 are unfortunately painful, it also happened to me and only a few assets that I have not sold.

Ive been a long term investor since I knee bitcoin 3 years ago. There are so much realizations I have made about being a long term holder. 
 

• Limits and goals
• Stop loss
• Control of emotions

 And many more considerations. Also, being a long term investor can contribute to financial freedom in a way that we freely control and spend it whenever we want.

You'll not only promoting Bitcoin but also your channel and you would like people to follow your YouTube channel so they can see the way to financial freedom. But anyway, it is not important to see what's inside coz for sure it is all about drama.

Back then,
The long-term investment could be something great to offer but living this volatile market, not sure if we have the guts to make it. The risk that involves here is terrific and that could be the reason why most of the crypto holders never do a long-term investment but rather to choose the short-term one. I admit myself with this because even though Bitcoin is the most trusted coin in the market but it can't really give us assurance.
