The complex public addresses of our wallets is not at all a problem for cryptocurrency users. There is no need to hide these addresses from someone, because having the public address of our wallets, nobody can harm us anyway. Therefore, addresses can be kept free, without the necessary precautions that we use when dealing with the secret keys of our wallets. We simply copy and paste them if necessary, and it is not so important whether it is complex or not.
The public address of the wallet is also complicated, since such addresses need a very large number, and to preserve the identity of the address, you need a large character set.

I do not think that this will greatly affect the mass adaptation.

I guess the main goal of the project is to have a convenient use of wallet addresses giving more comfort with sending and receiving. Mass adaption has noting to do with this, it might affect but not that really noticeable since market is speculated.

Always glad to know projects like this they are really solving a big issue if you will ask me who had lost nearly $400 just because of typo error in the address. I want to be one of the early digital name buyers for my address so I can get an awesome name before someone will pick it.
But I have one question
Is it free to have a digital name or they will take charge like domain name?

OP, there seems to be some confusion about the goal of your topic, because some people replying to your thread are talking about domain names <websites> and other are talking about the long complex addresses that are used for Bitcoin addresses.

So just to be clear, do you want people to talk about complex domain names or do you want to talk about a method to make Bitcoin addresses shorter?

Whatever is done, should not be done via third party services, because it would compromise Bitcoin's security.  Wink

I am quite confusing with your comments. About the address easy to remember? why? We only need to remember the private key or a tool to open the wallet.
If the address is too easy to remember, then it will not be able to create billions of wallets because it only exists a few characters.

Ok, do you think the complexity of public address affects the economy of a coin or a chain? For example, if bitcoin had an easy to remember the address, would it be adopted more readily? The same question is valid for ETH, of course.

People are irked by complex addresses and one of the reasons old folks are not into crypto is because everything is too complicated, as they are not computer age people like us. They like it simple and I tend to think that simpler addresses would help them adapt, and improve the crypto economy.
I found this site because a friend recommended it and all I did was enter my email and reserved a good name for myself. I am one of the people who missed the .com craze because I did not care to get a good domain name, although I could because I knew about it, now I am not gonna miss that one.

These things are first come first served, and usually (as in bitcoin), people who grab the good names first tend to get rich beyond belief.
So, what do you think? Can you beat me? My position =1, I am the number 1, the champion Smiley

Regardless of the generation they are born, be it a person from computer age or not, no one wants complexity as much as possible because everyone is after convenience and smooth sailing transactions. That's why technology keeps on innovating things, for people to have easier and seemless process of doing things and same goes with cryptocurrency. And I agree that just seeing how complex the address people that isn't fond of computers and codes will lose their interest in entering crypto space no more, making the adaption of cryptocurrency slower.

I don't actually see its complexity as a negative thing because it provides security at the same time. It was created for a purpose and I'm sure that everyone is benefiting from it. It doesn't even affect the market situation or even coins. It's necessary that our addresses are safe and would be hard to be targeted.

The feature of this one is commendable indeed since it shortens the address that we have. In that case, transaction will become much more secured and we cannot commit any more mistake in putting our address since it is not short and easy to memorize.

Yes that is maybe a problem with having complex address with random word and number, i also hard to educate to old people like my parent about how wonderful cryptocurrency. I already try it... but the reason is same that is complicated. Technology created to make human more easy to use tools. In Bitcoin the address is complicated and not possible to remember.
QR Code maybe also the answer about complexity, but still we need check the address first, if wrong our fund can go nowhere. That is also another reason, payment cant canceled!  Cheesy

Even techy people or us that have been already in the crypto world for a while, still experienced making mistakes with our address. What more for non-techy and newbie users? Actually making it a simple address don't just help to attract other people but is also helpful to us to avoid mistakes.

Recognizable names also is a factor in our economy. It promotes safe, faster and easy transaction to avoid complicated addresses. Shorter addresses provides assurance for those who don't want to lose something in them/ Also for beginners to start their crypto activities secured and successful. For example, Digital names is good in making you an easy to understand wallet address and avoid complex addresses.

Having less complex addresses is a hassle for you. So use a lesser characters in names to promote much safer and easier transactions. Easy to understand address can prevent loss and provides assurance in the transactions. You'll not confuse yourself about the addresses and also the other people. Simpler address will do and helps develop the crypto community.

Simpler addresses do not matter much to the crypto community. So what do you mean by they helps develop the crypto community? In fact, complicated and long addresses protect the crypto community in some ways. Addresses which are long and complicated are hard to remember and copy, unlike simple addresses. And since it is always encouraged to use multiple wallet addresses, or even a single wallet address per transaction, addresses will really get more complicated in due time.

That is what the project is trying to achieve, the complicated address is hard to remember and so prone to mistakes by the owner. Having a shorter one is good and still have the high security just like for the long addresses.I think this will be very helpful to crypto space, we'll once it launched.

Most people who use cryptocurrencies are millennials they are tech savvy, they follow instructions on YouTube and Tutorials and are quick to grasp and understand and adopt new technology easily, on my part the complexity involved in cryptocurrency addresses might prevent old folks from cryptocurrencies investing and this affects the adoption rate, the new use of names, emails and usernames in blockchains will help in the adoption of cryptocurrencies and I believe this is the new trend that should solve the complexity of addresses in cryptocurrencies for new comers.
