I was initially planning to unfold our plans to offer to our EU customers to fund their Coldkeys with fiat, so we provide the BTC for you in exchange.
That'll have to wait for now.

I understand that you don't mind waiting a bit, but the faster those parcels are out, the faster I'll be able to move onto our next plans.

So far, I am very happy to claim that since I operate on Bitcointalk, long before I started Coldkey, my shipping rate is a 100% success.
No parcel ever was lost, and I think it's partly due to many precautions I take.
I am not certain that there will be a 100% success for shipments going out during the lockdown.
I can't ship today like I did yesterday.


The cost of a subscription includes 3 x 10€ as a shipping fee.
Subscribers were charged and signed for a monthly shipment from us but exceptionally, there will be no shipping in April due to the pandemic.
We still process shipments for orders where UPS is chosen, as they operate as usual.

However this isn't something we can gift to all of you, so I need to ask everyone to wait a little bit more.
I will introduce the procedure to trigger the funding of your Coldkeys once you receive them nonetheless.
More security and safety appeals to me very much.
Following these instructions is an extra step for you, and extra work for me, but the safety of your funds is priceless to me.

I am sorry, but it's not possible to offer you a discount on the next Q3 2020 History Coldkey subscription, but here's what we can do :

1. I planned to enclose a 10€ discount voucher in every subscriber parcel.

If you are a subscriber, then you have a first voucher code to remove the shipping fee : all the orders you place in the meantime ships with the next monthly History parcel.
If you can wait, there's 10€ off one of our next Coldkey for you all.

2. We can refund a shipping fee (10€) to you, to make up for the April shipment that was charged for but didn't happen.
If this is what you prefer, please reach out to us with an email or through our "Contact Us" form on the website, and indicate your subscription order number.

If you prefer only one single shipment in June, we can refund two shipping fees to you (20€).

I haven't been much around lately. The reason is that I barely knew what to say to you, and what to do.
What happened is very unfortunate. Hopefully thanks to you all, we'll make it through.

In the end, 42 April History Coldkey were sold. It is now unavailable.
6 remained.

I am slowly resuming our operation, with some changes in the procedure.
Now the Coldkeys you buy from us will ship unloaded, and they will be funded upon your confirmation.

Here's how I plan to resume operation :

1) Send mass emails to subscribers in order to collect funding for the May History Coldkey.
2) While the fundings are being collected, I ship the previous outstanding orders.
3) When this backlog of previous orders is done, I will proceed with shipping the parcels for subscribers who funded their May History Coldkey.
4) Once all the backlog of orders have been dealt with, we will release the May History Coldkey on our shop.


Once this all is done, the May History Coldkey will become available in our shop. I expect it will be around the 15th of May.
Sorry for all this, I worked to stir the release date towards the beginning of the month, but the unfortunate events we faced blew it all off.

I went dormant during most of our lockdown; I didn't know how to handle the situation very well.
Hopefully the worst is behind us, so I am happy to resume our operations as of this week.
Everything is delayed :
- Shipments.
- Releases. (The May History Coldkey release will still happen in May.)

It wasn't a vacation or holiday but rather a stressful period, because I didn't know what to do.
I worked on a few different Coldkey projects behind the curtains. More to be announced soon.

But first, in order to resume shipping and to further enhance the safety of our customers funds, in these times of uncertainty, there is a change in the way we deliver Coldkeys that are loaded with digital BTC to you.
This concerns all the shipments that include History Coldkeys so here is the best place to communicate about it.

This application ensures that the person who ordered and funded the Coldkeys is the same person who retrieved the physical parcel.
If the parcel gets lost or stolen, then no digital BTC is lost. It becomes loaded only when the rightful owner received it.

Everything will be detailed in the email you will receive with your tracking number, and on a document within the parcel.

I will be shipping a few parcels every day.
We should have completely recovered the delay by the beginning of June.

We are still in May .. I know we're the 31st and that it's the last day of the month... 11:59 PM Forum time..
I am still under the water, recovering and resuming everything.
I just wish nothing had happened and everything kept going on harmoniously. I do my best.

The History is not over and the serie shall continue !  

We are happy to work with a different artist for the Q3 2020 already.
The Q3 2020 History Coldkey release will be particular, kind of "last-of-his-kind".
Starting from Q4 2020, the total emission of Coldkey in a monthly release won't be limited to a certain quantity, instead each release availability will be limited through time.

We are still working on accepting SEPA Direct Debit and/or SEPA Wire Transfer to cover the funding part in fiat and receive BTC loaded on the Coldkey in exchange of the fiat deposit.
This way to conduct limited releases is incompatible with a model where we want to widely offer our History Coldkeys for sale in advance in exchange of fiat.

Simply because we cannot predict the numbers, and we do not want to limit how many people can benefit from the easy on-ramp-to-Bitcoin we are building.
So .. Expect a few changes in the future.

That being said, I am happy to present to you the 2nd release of the History Coldkey with RYR Artist for May 2020 !

On the 1st of May 2020, 1 BTC was valued around 8174€.
50€ worth of BTC at that date is ~0.00611695BTC.
