While scrolling through several thread on the scams. example is:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178638.msg52258020#msg52258020
Where the OP has stated about spam ICO's.

Listing on a Top exchange is not a free job its obvious that they do charge you. Now thinking on the other hand the spam project gets a website done, whitepaper, content, promotion, listing blah blah blah and all of it comes for a cost.

One would spam only if they are getting profit, right? Which indirectly means that, even after the long list of initial cost that they bare they get sound profit. This can only happen if a bunch lot of crypto enthus believe on it.

Just image how many investor might be there getting chopped with such spam blades. If there is no enough crowd to get chooped then the spammer won't be able to invest to create a spam project, right?

Is this all? Or there more layers to this field.

If this is the only layer then education is the only way out?

If I attempt at rephrasing; you're suggesting that a project cannot be a scam if the developers invest into it to get the custom token listed, and not attract enough investors to make the project profitable.

Is this all? Or there more layers to this field.
Yes, i think there are more layers to it. The major objective of scammers is to make profit and to do that, they would try to make the project look as legitimate as possible on the surface, and listing on a reputed exchange could be part of the cover, and hence exchanges sometimes delist certain currencies from it's platform, https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/11879/binance-delists-five-projects-including-salt-lending

If there is no enough crowd to get chooped then the spammer won't be able to invest to create a spam project, right?
The spam project is already created before seeking out investors.

The thing is, you cannot compel people on what to invest in, it's their freewill choice to make and obviously it's their money that's "on the line". Let's be honest, it's impossible to get rid(totally/absolutely)of scam projects, we as a community can only raise users consciousness and awareness to their existence and encourage them to avoid most ICO projects.

That awareness/education is anything but lacking in here, especially in the beginners board, there are so many threads that come up, warning new users, so they do not fall a victim, and I do not think anything more can be done about this.

This took a lot of time for me to understand not gonna lie. From what I take you're asking if the only layer involved in the profit making of spam projects is when investors invest in it. If there are no investors involved, then no such spam projects could be made, Right? Well, there are probably a lot more underlying layers there since they can't really infinitely spam if the process was that simple. Besides, most spams themselves are just scams so and the website, whitepaper and such can easily be made by copying off of others and editing it by a little bit. They basically make their own and profit from scamming others so its free profit.

That happened mostly for scamming people especially investors. I think that the scammer cost by creating fake site can be covered by the profit they got from scamming people. Well, we can stop those scammers creating or starting spam projects just to earn free profit but it is possible that it can be avoided getting fooled.

Listing on a Top exchange is not a free job its obvious that they do charge you.
Listing on a major exchange costs, sure, but there are plenty of exchanges out there which will list tokens for minimal costs or even free.

Now thinking on the other hand the spam project gets a website done, whitepaper, content, promotion, listing blah blah blah and all of it comes for a cost.
All of this can be done for free. Websites, whitepaper, and content can all (and often are) plagiarized or copied from various places. Promotion is easy - you just pay people in your new token that you just created out of thin air. Spammers will work for any old piece of trash, and doesn't cost the scammers a cent.

One would spam only if they are getting profit, right?
As I said above, you can create, launch, advertise, and list a scam for essentially free. It only takes a couple of idiots to buy these tokens and the scammers have made a profit on their time.

Just image how many investor might be there getting chopped with such spam blades.
There is no end to people who will believe any old rubbish are easily parted with their money.

No matter what we say we should implement here or anywhere, we just can't stop and get rid of scams totally. We can't control them abkut their continuous making of scam projects especially if they want to earn out of it, no matter how hard we make a way to get rid of them they'll just make their way ti still make one. The only thing we could do is to raise awareness and educate ourselves not to take and be victimized by their baits and schemes. We can't control and manipukate their actions but we can do something about not getting involved to any of their scams for if there aren't anyone who buys their techniques, there won't be anything to sell at the first place.

I believe all those problems can be summarized in one sentence: invertors and scammers looking for easy money.

That's what our ecosystem became. Lots of people looking for 10000% gains without any effort (as if holding BTC for 5years was effortless)
Now everyone is just looking for the next pump coin...

I doubt stopping them is possible. Scammers take scamming as their jobs and I doubt a simple boycott or simply avoiding getting fooled by them is enough to stop them. There are a lot of innovative ways scammers have come up with and would only increase more so in the future so don't expect scamming to disappear just like that

This easy money earning expectation is from both investors and the scammers and scammer is always the winner in this run. Then why do not these investors give some work to brain before getting fooled.
