From where did you hear we can trade our stake pool for liquidity? I got an email regarding this too a month ago but they did not mention anything about it,
it seems like PoS mining pool becomes a trend lately, I have seen a few exchanges making this move.

this sounds awesome, i know theres some coins that id love to have PoS pools for
but its too hard to trust a service nowadays

We need to wait for a while until KuCoin can give more explanation about the project. I think there is a little information that we can find from the link the OP share. But I found a whitepaper in https://pool-x.io/pol_introduction, and it seems, that is an exciting project.

If this can be a good way to make money, then I think people will try this, but if it's not, they will not attempt to invest in that project. I think KuCoin wants to compete with Binance as they want to launch this project.

I'm already a long term fan of KuCoin. Their whole team are continuously working on new features etc, and I feel like this PoS Staking Pool can bring the biggest change to the whole staking market but their wording is bad or confusing and even nonsensical.

Staking has nothing to do with liquidity. liquidity programs are market makers. Uniswap is an example of a liquidity program. You don't "stake" coins with Uniswap. furthermore what is a PoS mining pool? Either you are staking or you are mining; you aren't doing both. Since they are using coins I'll assume the word mining just shouldn't be there. Rocketpool is a PoS pool. It's not clear what this is. also, node integration is a meaningless term. All nodes of all blockchain technologies already integrate with one another. That's literally required for a blockchain to function. they should definitely hire a native English as a first language writer.

Nothing new here. Kucoin is using all accumulated coins that they have from users to take part in staking of those coins. Basically, the same as you would do with a currency wallet, you can do on an exchange right now.
