Just got an invite code, download the software fully synched it and now I am on a candidate status next validation will happen 1/2/2020 9:30 pm on my computer I have no idea how this flip will be complete because there are no videos I just know I have to finish this in two minutes.
Questions: Any videos about flipping there are no videos on English about this, and how many coins can I earn if I have computer mining in 8 hours daily.

With 154 miners idena network currently have you will receive ~ 220 coins for validation, ~350 for flips (if you are at least newbie and created 3 flips that reach consensus) and ~ 7coins/h of mining (51840 (daily distribution) * 0,5 (block mining rewards) / 154 (number of active miners) / 24)

I guess there are no vids in English that show how validation is conducted, however there is this semi official video in Chinese (I think). You don't need English voice-over explanation, process is simple enough to just understand by looking at it. Mute the sound and observe. As to how many coins in 8 hours of mining, I think it will be something around 37.5.

After your very first validation is successful, network will accept you as validated person and mining will be available to you.
3rd successful validation will unlock your first invite and yes you get commission from refereed people but only if they also succeed at validation. It may be a good idea to give invites to solid folks, that you know are smarter than a typical bot

If by any chance, your system is out of sync with the current "global atomic second" your synchronisation with the Idena network would not be possible at all. So, if you are synced, you have peers and correct status (wait for validation), you are all set and validation will start automatically in the time it is announced. Also, if you want to be extra sure, subscribe to the telegram official channel of Idena, it gives several prompts (4hours, 30 minutes and 5 minutes) prior to validation.

Thanks for reminding us I have tried a flip challenge here https://flips.idena.io/ and I got the 19 out of 29 which is only 65% accuracy, what is the correct ratio for a correct answer so I can get my account validated and start mining.

50% in current short session
75% in total in short sessions (so you need 75% in first validation and that is your answer - 4/5 flips have to be correct or 3/4 if one did not reach consensus)
75% in current long session

Well, network lost 10 participants this week and I can tell you why exactly it had happened.
Two minutes prior to validation, node disconnected and went out of sync.
Synchronisation finalised exactly the moment short session ended.    that's it.
Strange coincidence that had nothing to do with internet connection itself, as it was working fine.
Not sure I'm interested in further mining, especially that I was suspended anyway.
If anyone would like to buy some 13.5K idena from me, let me know.

Second time in a row, node disconnects right before the validation begins, while the entire week it was running without any problems.
Mining penalty was unfairly added to my account, same troubles with synchronisation, luckily this time it got me synced a few seconds before the validation session. It didn't load to full extent though, as there was only 2 peers connected with me, my client was unable to load the key words, and it was loading for 44 seconds of my precious validation time. If this continues, I see no future for Idena   it's just getting infuriating and will discourage people in the future. I also got the feeling that the network wants me out for some reason...
Fix it or perish! O and BTW what kind of a genius makes all those inconsistent basketball stories? Geez

I'm sorry to read that I got validated from the network and now started mining Idena next validation will happen on the 7th of this month I hope I will not encounter any issue like you've had, but devs should address this issue, it's a young project and every issue must be address along the way.

Its a summary of your doings in the last epoch, there you will find the reason for your suspension.
My guess will be "late submission" because I also had it this time. There must be something wrong with the protocol, network is not propagating information fast enough, time stamps are correct but for some reason network sees them as uploaded after the set time.

Before you start with Idena it is good if you can read documentation on website and watch tutorial videos that are posted on Telegram.
Download and sync Idena.

This could be the reason why
Your current short validation session’s score should be 50% or more.
Your total score for short validations (including the current validation session and all the previous ones) should be 75% or more.
Your current long session’s score should be 75% or more.

In addition, you have to solve flips both correctly and fast. The first 5 flips must be solved in less than 2 minutes.

On Idena official channel many are selling this coin for 250 sats each, that's way to low for a coin with a unique algo and a good potential in the market, I remember I sold all my MRAI for 1 cent and that Mrai reached $15 in their all-time high, I hope we can have a good market on this coin this year, I will not be surprised if the price reaches $1 each or even more because of fair mining, probably one of the easiest coins to mine.

Right? I see the potential as well, but we have to bear in mind those issues I have raised in post #158 and #139.
Dev have to address those or at least look in to them. Something potentially dangerous for the lifespan of the network may be hidden there. I'm not willing to alert dev's on any other means of communication. They came here, so they have to pay attention to all the community they're creating for this project of theirs. Lack of interest may highlight objections put by Tytanowy Janusz, that we in fact facing potential pump and dump scheme. This is cool idea after all, with definitely bright future ahead and making a milking cow out of it, won't serve as trust building development.

I'm calling Idena dev out, look in to this potential (imo real) problem.
