I already know about it and most in the discord group many people are trolled by selling idena at very cheap prices. It is better for me to wait until the exchange is truly safe besides certainly the benchmark selling and buying prices are more real.

3. Flips distribution improvement.
4. Fast synchronization improvement (state snapshots are saved once per 1000 blocks).
5. Duplicate keywords for flip bug fix.
6. Block proposer selection improvement.
7. Consensus protocol improvement.
8. Bug fixes.

There is no bounty now. Team is focused on developing and testing to prepare for mainnet. Just download client and node and be part of the network. You will be one out of 200 first nodes. Thats enough to mine ~200 coins per day (3.2 $ taking 200 sat as current OTC price).

Yeah if you don't get scammed, OTC offers are full of scammers wait for exchanges, also you will avoid to sell at 120k marketcap to this guy who will probably sell them for 3-5x easily. (if you have the chance to get early why sell your coins for nothing, you will have time to sell what you mine for 1$ a day later anyway)

After the update my peer count jump from 1-2peers to 63 peers at a given time. Tomorrow will be the next validation day and the community is very helpful specially to the person who helps me with the invite code. This is the first time i experience a community member giving 1 on 1 tutorial for the step by step procedure on how to get started with idena.

Yes, all those who take part in validation once every 5 days are now greatly helped because no one has missed the validation hour, usually because the unstable internet network results in late validation and fails to complete unique captha to get an idena reward.

2. Running node version 0.16.1 although my client says 0.1.4 i guess its fine for as long as the node is upto date.

My current status: candidate

You could as well just check in to validation dates and receive your validation rewards for solving flips - and leave constantly running nodes and receiving block rewards to others. It is all up,to you.

I have been able to validate 5 times in a row without problems and fail the last two times because of the same connection problems, peers or not sending in time. My account was Zombie...

It's common in this testnet phase, the software is correcting bugs and for that you have to report them. Today's validation has been perfect in my case and I don't have the problems I had before.
Don't give up! In six days you can validate again and continue with your mining, good luck.

I also updated to 0.16.2 but I did not miss the verification!  You only need to replace it with 0.16.2, and the synchronization will be completed quickly!

I also updated to 0.16.2 but I did not miss the verification!  You only need to replace it with 0.16.2, and the synchronization will be completed quickly!

I have also updated the node to the latest version and it really helps sync faster than usual which is very slow, so every five days I never miss when I validate idena. The time to complete the Captha is also very fast.

It does look like a problem I was describing before. Only explanation now is you didn't update the node to 0.16.2 and the client to most up to date version. For me problems seem to be resolved now, I mean let's wait till next validation, to be sure, but so far everything that was relating to network propagation of data, looks quite optimistic and extremely accelerated with this new updates.
Give it one more chance, just like I did.

How do you guys feel about recent flips? I got the feeling they are getting more and more ridiculous, they are starting to deviate from key words much more, are people loosing creativity? I suspect they do, because I feel like I myself getting less imaginative with them.
Key words I got seem virtually uncontactable at times, this my be a future problem. I think that people with more than 10 epochs behind them should be required to only do the long session. Otherwise pool of ideas will get depleted and quality will go to shits.

Still cheering for Idena but lack of involvement of dev in this thread is something I don't like
