~snip~

Maybe they will use the coins to pay the team members/developers, pay for exchange listing, make some bounty to spread awareness, etc.

There are a lot of projects out there with a lot of premine, some with even 100% premined coins. This is not a problem if the team will use it wisely.

Dear Idena community,
I'm andrew idena and i'm scammer
When you,
stupid bustard
will burn your premined coins?

1- 36 milion premine. (82% of all coins in hands of team now)
2- 12K coins from invitations
3- 5% of all new emitted coins goes to the team ~ 13k coins each epoch

12k+13k=25k coins each epoch goes to the team. Thats ~10%

Maybe they will use the coins to pay the team members/developers, pay for exchange listing, make some bounty to spread awareness, etc.

There are a lot of projects out there with a lot of premine, some with even 100% premined coins. This is not a problem if the team will use it wisely.

hi, im realRioda and i'm scammer
Scammer andrew idena had premined 36,000,000 coins,
but arranged a circus in the form of an auction,
so that people lower the price for the translation.
Yeah, he is a bastard bastard.

Especially if, based on current bets and my estimations of how it could evolve, they will get 10 translations for 10 000 DNA -> ~400$. Thats well spended 400$ and drop in the ocean of what's left in their pockets. I'm interrested of how much will they achive with those coins.

"There is an undisclosed threshold for this work. If the lowest offers exceed it, the auction winners will not be chosen. Otherwise the winners will be announced on February 24, 2020."

Why is this so complicated..

If I understand if good, if I ask for example 2000 DNA for translation, and the team decided to offer 1850 DNA I wont get selected?

How do I know what the team have decided in the first place? I must trust you or is registered on the blockchain?

There is an auction on discord. If you will post lowest bet and it still be higher then their threshold for this work they will cancel it. That's how it work in real life too. Every Public procurement (not sure if I translated it into english correct) are arranged like that (at least in my country) with once exception - you don't know any competitors' offers

Exactly.
You won’t know.
Because they will choose their people and pay them.
Scammers pay scammers.
Otherwise why auction if there is a huge premine ?

Ok, but in my example, if I will bet 300 DNA they can say the threshold was 295 DNA, sorry you are not selected.

I mean they can always say a lower amount just because they can using this method.

Why to make the bounty like this when you can make it transparent and let users know how much they will get for their work. Take it or leave it style.

But what's the point of that?
1- wasted week
2- no translated content

You are not working unless you are selected. So there is no profit for them in such "strategy". All you are supposed to do is to go to discord and post the lowest amount of DNA that is acceptable for you for this translation.

They are running this to get translated content not to waste everyone's week. In 23/02/20 they will close bets and see what's the lowest offer. If your offer would be the lowest and lower than their threshold you will be selected. I don't see a point to cheat in a way you said. If your offer will be higher than you won't be selected and won't start translating - you will waste 30 seconds of your time (time to post an offer on discord)

And again:
Every Public procurement (not sure if I translated it into english correct) are arranged like that (at least in my country) with once exception - you don't know any competitors' offers
You never know how much money they have for job you are offering to do. And sometimes it is weeks of counting (f.e. 100M $ bridge or road)

hi, i'm Tytanowy Janusz and i'm stupid scammer living in zimbabwe

Scammer andrew idena can pay 10,000 - 100,000 DNA per translations easily, because of 36,000,000 premine.
But he wants to make a show how everyone will humiliate each other by lowering the price.
And he will have fun.

Got it. You have a point.

I will have a look and auction my time at around $0.15/word.

There is an opinion that this fraud came from VULTR (investigation will continue).
From some VULTR's admins, who decided to improve the company's business in such a fraudulent way.
Just analyze the situation a bit.
1. To run idena wallet, everyone always recommends using VPS, because there is a huge amount of traffic - there can be 10-15 GB per day.
But what kind of traffic is this? The developers did not answer this question.
But keep that in mind.
2. For each question in a Telegram or Discord about which VPS to use, everyone (you understand who) always answers that it is best to use VULTR.
But why ? Vultr is shit that requires the first payment for Card/Paypal (that is, you are identifying yourself) and only then can you pay with cryptocurrency.

A small conclusion. While small.
You create a huge amount of fake traffic on the Vultr servers.

Now you understand where this scam is from?

I will send this information to the main management of VULTR.
Maybe they don’t know about this scam of their admins.
