Hi, one problem that can cause late submission is: bad time sync on os where node and client run, other, node went out od sync and did not submit data in time.
Node and client logs would say more about what happened.

Well I also thought the node went ut of sync but when I checked the explorer i saw the answers were sent in time, see below:

BTW long time gone and no report about network grow:

"1,2,3,4" flips, should be always reported.

Agreed. The way I see it - being too lenient on weak flips (no bad flip penalty) will end up like that:
1- You do 6 flips out of which 4 are 1,2,3,4
2- 4 flips are disqualified and you are rated based on 2 flips that qualified
3- you made a mistake in one and you are killed.
4- knowing a fact that you only need to do 2 flips on average and fast-skip 4 you can start 3-4 nodes easily

50% for 1 bad flip and 100% for two is good for a start. If network will remain stable I don't see a reason why not come back to this discussion with 30%, 60%, 100%.

The rule "one bad flip no rewards is insane", sometimes keywords are that random that it is impossible to connect them into a story and admins encourage people to report such flips, which leads some people to report half of the flips. I will be back when you change this rule if you ever will.

When you get back, validation reward for Idena will prolly be 1 DNA instead of current 56 DNA, so you're better off just buying it on qtrade.io if you can't bear to cope with sometimes hard keyword pairs.

agree, but there is no steady up numbers validation after validation, we are still hoovering around 2000, more or less
and flips that are submitted are getting worse and worse, maybe is just because a growing number of people, and some of them do not understand what flip is, maybe is something else, but i find it hard to solve some flips, and some have first two pictures same, and only third and four reversed, that is something that IMO should be instantly reported, and i do that

Different first picture? There is no rule like that. All you need to do is making second set of pictures "story-less" that's all. Even devs showing sample flip did not mix first picture:

I don't remember anyone ever said that flips like that needs to be reported.
Developers are not gods, so we can all say when shuffle can be done better to make more illogical flips on other side.

News (next changes/propositions) from july 15 AMA. For those who wasn't present i have short summary:

We rather believe that the reporting system can be improved by adding rewards for proper reporting and limiting the number of flips that can be reported.
Network participants have to agree which flips are bad. First of all, flips must comply with the given pairs of keywords. It’s a clear criteria for reporting.

Rewards for the reported flips are to be distributed among the committee members that reported them. Limiting the number of flips that can be reported would make people choose which flips to report.

The invitation distribution system is to be changes as follows:
- Humans will get 1 invite starting from those with the highest score
- The remaining invites are distributed first to Humans (1 to each account) and then to Verified starting with those having the highest Total score.
As a result, Humans with a low Total score will probably get at least 1 invitation. Verified accounts might get  invitations only if there are invitations left after all Humans have received 2 invitations each.
The targeted number of invitations in the network will be calculated in the same way as it is done now:  50% of the network size after each validation (Idena foundation invitations remaining extra).

The most important ones are the following:
- Sharding Phase 1: Q4
- Oracles voting: Q3-Q4
- Predefined smart contracts: Q4-Q1

Currently we are focused on the following items:
- Validation flow improvements, load testing
- Protocol changes: Reporting system, Identity scoring, Flip reward system
- Extending the node API to enable building Validation-as-a-Service apps on top
- Predefined oracles smart contract integrated into the protocol and UI for the app

What I liked the most was my suggestion about invite distribution being implemented in the next hard fork.

As for the rest, it's too early to tell what impact will it have on Idena.

But AMA was quite good.

see the income from mining is decreasing and also the income on reward validation and flips, I think it's time to recover hit 2 or 5k satoshi, just need a few other exchanges to really go, see a very good growth from the community
