what happen to epoch 46? why the node difference is half of the next epoch?

Validation bug. It was well described here By realRioda. We had hard fork soon after that fixed some issues - https://medium.com/idena/idena-hard-fork-announcement-42416b1178a6. You can see this dump also on iDNA price chart.

i think idena now change their ticker to iDNA instead using DNA because there already exist coin using DNA ticker on Hotbit and coinmarketcaps, for your question why did they using iDNA on hotbit and DNA on qtrade is because there is already traded coin on hotbit using DNA ticker while on qtrade there is no other listed coin that using DNA ticker, but idena team decide to change their ticker to make them comfortable when list on any exchange or monitoring site like coinmarketcaps.

qTrade exchange should update ticker to iDNA but I guess they need more time, maybe they are just busy

Great job but honestly I took me a while to understand the story, on the actual flips it's a lot easier than this but it's better to practice on a hard one isn't? Good luck to the upcoming validation.

Just to make sure that incase if your your node  is not online always then node put on online for  sync at least 5 hours before next validation time and keep it online.  hours before validation I found it was slow in catching up. Good Luck

Ive been thinking about this. What would happen in the case of an attack on the network, or on the specific ips at the exact verification time? could an attacker cause most people not to get verified, causing themselves to be one of the only producers for the next cycle?
